We stayed in a room right above the lobby/atrium and it was extremely loud. The voices from the people down in the lobby carried. Would suggest guests ask for rooms further into the halls.

After staying at the Drury Plaza in Cleveland, this Dury in had a lot to live up to. The staff (in both places) was friendly and helpful. The rooms in Greensboro were disappointing in size. The Greensboro rooms (we had two) were very small. The bathroom was so small that a tall person had to leave the door open to use the commode. Not a good situation. The breakfast in Cleveland was much better, with buttery scrambled eggs and bacon, as well as sausage. Happy hour was good in Greensboro, but better in Cleveland.

I've stayed in a Drury Inn in another city and the Greensboro hotel is nice. The staff was great and the lobby was very pretty. They have a glass elevator which I also liked. I loved the amenities - microwave and fridge in the rooms, free parking, ice machine on every floor, free wi-fi, free hot breakfast, free dinner, and two free drinks at night!! The room was also nice but the only drawbacks were that 1) you don't get the freebies like lotion, etc., (this isn't really a negative and shampoo and soap dispensers are built into the shower) and 2) the blanket at the foot of the bed had stains - looked like oil or grease (so I took them off the bed). The room was otherwise clean. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel.

Just a quick stay in Greensboro and decided on the Drury. The roadside sign was old and crappy so I was a little apprehensive about what our room would look like, but thankfully there was nothing to worry about. The hotel interior is very nice and the shower and bed were great. The showerhead itself was worth the stay! And it certainly doesn't hurt that Krispy Kreme is right down the road.

Nice place to stay...................................................................................................

We were very pleased with our stay at the Drury Inn. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and up-to-date. The breakfast and evening kickback were wonderful! As well as the unlimited soda and popcorn in the late evenings. I had trouble finding examples of what was on the kickback menu so for those that may be wondering they had baked potatoes, chili, salad, hotdogs, and macaroni and cheese. This was probably one of the best experiences we have had in a hotel stay.

Hotel was new looking and clean. Room was newly renovated and very clean! Mattress very comfortable. Quiet! Dinner reception was ok. Adequate considering it was included in price! Adults can have 2 alcoholic beverages each. Lady making drinks (from a very limited selection) was untrained and perhaps a bit short. Made dry martini with sweet vermouth because that's all she had. When mistake pointed out to her, she still counted that as one of the 2 drinks even though it was not consumable! Just stick with beer and wine! Otherwise great?

everything was fine. I just needed a place to sleep.

This is one of the few hotels that welcome dogs. They do not charge extra and even give dog treats at the front desk. Since I sometimes like to travel with my small dog, it is nice to know that there is a clean and well staffed facility that welcomes both of us. They also serve breakfast !

the amenities offered were EXCELLENT ! We stayed only one night and therefore didn't see the pool or business center. However, from the free happy hour with appetizers, to the free evening popcorn and free breakfast - all were a very nice surprise ! The room was large, clean and comforable ( the bathroom was small though ) The staff at the front desk were nice. Our car was even looked after and safe in their gated parking lot.

Drury met all of our needs. Front desk staff was especially pleasant.

Nice room. Very clean and spacious. Took my small dog and he loved it, too! I missed the afternoon happy hour, but did go to breakfast. Lots of good hot food, but the staff seemed a bit unorganized. I was among the early birds there, but only spoons were out. Forks were brought out after I asked for them, and I did not see any knives. Located right off the highway among other motels, but it has nice, secure parking. There is an indoor pool and fitness room, but I did not use either.

This is the second time we have been here. The first experience was was good so therefore we booked again. Easy on and off I-40 and great happy hour.

Unbelievable amenities for the price -- have absolutely nothing negative to report. All parts of hotel we saw appeared to be newly renovated from top to bottom. Very quiet, comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located to interstate & Coliseum.

We were in Greensboro visiting a new grandbaby. This hotel was newly furbished and quite comfortable. However it was cheaply done with thin walls. A bus load of teenagers kept us up past 11pm. Because of the quality or lack there of, I doubt this place will be nice for long, so take advantage of its' hot free breakfast and afternoon happy hour before it goes downhill. Rooms have microwave & fridge but the inroom coffee pot makes only 1 cup. That coffee is undrinkable so it really doesn't matter. If the inroom coffee was upgraded and bus loads of teenagers were discouraged or better chaperoned, I could reccommend this hotel.

The hotel was great, very clean (my white socks were still white), quiet, and comfortable. The staff was excellent. The breakfast fare was just so-so, but the happy hour every evening was awesome.

What a great surprise! We'd never stayed at a Drury Hotel before, but it will definitely not be the last time. In fact, we kept the flier showing all the locations around the US, since we do a lot of traveling and have already recommended the chain to friends and family. Highly recommended!

in case you don't know about drury inn hotels, they are a cut above most hotels in their price range. tilting towards business travellers, they have a small happy hour each weekday evening featuring hot buffet items and free drinks, including beer, wine and mixed drinks. they also offer a hot breakfast with a wide variety of choices for hungry travellers. feather pillows and recliner in room. second stay proved to be as good as original last year, so they are consistent. will stay again...

excellent service and staff, very clean room, will go back

Very clean , comfortable room . Staff very friendly and helpful ~ I was there while my 13 year old daughter was attending a USA volleyball camp at UNCG - Pierre at front desk helped my with car rental needs and was very kind and pleasant.Breakfast perfect for my needs as was evening hot food.
