We had a great 10 days stay in the hotel. Excellent facilities and a great pool area on the top of the hill. The room was advertised as a swim-up room with a little misleading picture here in Expedia. Instead of the swim-up rooms that share a long pool on the terrace area we lived at the pool site around two buildings with approx 10 room. Actually the better choice as it was very calm, was equipped with sunbeds for e very room and additional canopies. Had a great view towards the sea and the sunset every night. You just need to beware if you expect the same room as shown in the pictures. Great selection of food with different themes every day. Staff was a little slow at times, but still friendly.

Great place, beautiful beach, extreme relaxation

The breakfast was excellent in terms of choices and quality. The dinner was ok, but being a buffet drops the quality. Still good selection, but it felt like buffet. Not really a problem but being a Greek I am used to have better cooked dinner from restaurants, but for buffet style food was still quite good

Not for me.

Nice room & amazing view. Lovely welcome fruit platter & bubbly. However my room offered no shade after 2pm. No umbrellas. Apparently because of wind. Guess they don't know about concrete base umbrellas. So impossible to sit outside most of the day. Food very average. Built on a hill. Golf buggies available to drive you back up. Wouldn't want to be dependent on that in high season.

Great setting, let down in a few areas

Overall this was a nice stay, the hotel has been designed and built very well. It's built on the side of a hill and as such, the higher you go, the better the view. The view over Ierapetra city at night is amazing. The only comment on the room is that the lighting could do with being better at the bathroom mirror and the wardrobe needs more shelves / drawers. We got a warm welcome on check in but rarely got a welcome at other times. Often no acknowledgement of arriving for breakfast or dinner. During the service of these, the staff often looked over-worked. That being said, overall the food was good. The beach was lovely with decent sun beds. In the near week that we were there the bins were never emptied or the sunbed tables wiped down. The beach bar was good, but would be so much better if they walked round every now and then to see if you wanted anything rather than having to go up each time. The gym was equipped OK, though could probably do with having a set of dumbbells. Nothing to wipe down equipment after use, the air con was limited to 24°C and no towels available which again was a let down, especially as they were strict on limiting towels. The little spa on site is decent - felt very relaxed after a massage. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay and it's almost frustrating that they don't just put a bit more effort in to get it amazing.

Property very nice . Room had plenty of space. Booked room with private pool. Fabulous view. We had buffet breakfast and buffet dinner which were both great. Only downside was property built on hill. So walking down ok, but walking up a little hard if you are older. They will take you to your room in golf cart with a phone call which we used. Only stayed one night

This place is great. The hotel was perfectly kept. We did half board and there were plenty of selections at each meal and all was very good. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Beach access underground was perfect with bathroom for convenience.

Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff, excellent food, spacious well appointed rooms, great beach area. Very few sunbeds at the relatively small pool. No other tavernas or bars in the immediate area. Opposite the beach but a busy road in between.

This is a beautiful hotel right across the street from the sea. Rooms are bright, clean and comfortable and the design of the facility is unique and modern. The breakfast / dinner buffets are outstanding.

Second time and will stay again

Second time at this property and will stay again. I had recommended this property to friends too who also stayed there. This time I have tried the buffet dinner and was quite happy with the selection and taste. Room is spacious and well appointed apart from the mirror which was located on the wall by the bed (minor inconvenience). The property has also great sunset views.

This is a wonderful destination for anyone visiting the Irepetra area of Crete and looking for an all inclusive experience. The staff is attentive & friendly, the rooms clean & comfortable, the food delicious and the the views and amenities amazing. Comes with my highest recommendation - you will not be disappointed!!!

Hotel is truly wonderful: architecture, cleannes, amazing food, quiet space, parking, welcoming with bubbles, we had some snacks saved for us as we arrived after the dinner time. Stuff is really helpful and overal atmosphere is nice and relaxing. There were a few negative sides though: it would often smell like you are on a farm (not sure if it's seasonal smell), shower was leaking, the sink was fairly blocked. The hotel is new but some small things like this definitely could have been fixed. Food in general is great but almost all the deserts had artificial taste so we had to stick to savory options and fruit. SPA at the hotel is overpriced and prices are not written anywhere, so we were under impression that staff was making them up as we spoke. There are free morning yoga classes 3 times a week, but the teacher didn't adjust her program at all and continued with advanced poses even though many participants were clearly beginners (there were no tips provided). I would say that all the positives are still overweight a few negatives, so I would happily recommend this hotel.

We were welcomed with a very friendly and courteous staff, always quick to help and serve. The property itself is very clean and modern with varying levels of amenities, pool bar on the higher level, 2nd level has dining tables and chairs with mood lighting and the next level is the restaurant, all with amazing views of the beach, sea, coastal village and mountains. A real panorama! The restaurant served buffet style breakfast and dinner with lots of variety and themes each evening, delicious! The beach was just across the street which you could access by taking the elevator or stairs through a short tunnel and onto the beach in seconds with lounge chairs, canopy beds and umbrella’s and beach bar. Overall awesome hotel for all ages, there were families, young couples and old….we were all looking for the same thing, relaxing and safe, clean, modern environment with spectacular views! Will go again! The only negative was you need jelly shoes to enter the water…there’s rock and it’s a little slippery.

The service at Enorme Santanna Beach is really excellent. The resort is gorgeous, the view is divine, and you are on the beach. The pool area is great, with lounge beds in the pool, a fabulous pool bar serving delicious food and drinks. Everything was here and my only complaint is that I don’t care for buffet dining. But the food is great and there are options to order food to your room. We booked rather last minute and were really pleasantly surprised by the property. Would stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

One of the best accommodations we have ever seen. Service was top notch (they even thought of preparing some sandwiches because we checked in really late - and they prepared huge take-away breakfast because we checked out very early). They also offer complimentary dinners in addition to expected breakfast. The view is breathtaking, the parking is easy and the beach is great, too. Beware, though, that you'd most likely want to have water shoes for swimming - the water is emerald and crystal clear, but is not your generic sandy beach, the bottom is lava and slate rock, kinds slippery. Once you get deep enough you are just fine. Of course, they have a terrific pool area with a bar and evening live entertainment. All in all, excellent experience.
