Absolutely perfect for us. Lovely views, easy access to good dog walking areas like the promenade and duck pond, very cosy and well equipped, adequate parking. Small enclosed outdoor area off bedroom was an added bonus that we didn't know about. I'm sure in summer months the balcony and awning would be delightful too. As mentioned in listing, the shower has reduced height, but completely usable with great water pressure and the large bath is a luxurious alternative. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Grange.

Great location & apartment
Balcony has a great view over the bay and the added bonus of a retractable awning which gave shade and rain protection. Great position in the center of a nice town, handy for everything. Additionally there is a small courtyard you can leave a bike ( we didn't didn't know about this). Trains weren't an issue, enjoyed them passing.Very little negative to say. We had to ask for the address and no actual directions were given ( Google street view helped, although doesn't go down the actual street) . You can't park directly outside for long, but long enough to unpack/pack up. We were there during a heatwave so sun disappearing early evening a godsend, but in normal UK weather it might be frustrating. Downstairs a bit dark but only use it for toilet & sleep. Shower involved a stoop but that's been mentioned and hardly worth mentioning.All in all an excellent stay. Thanks

Great location but a few issues
Overall we were very happy. A very cute upside down cottage with unbelievable views. A train track runs in front, which was busy, but all trains were four carriages or less and very quiet. Two minor issues - the oven and microwave were not clean, the downstairs bedroom and bathroom smelt and felt damp (putting the heater on during the day, but off at night, resolved this). The biggest problem for us was the bath/shower. I am 5’9” and couldn’t use the shower at its highest but could at least stand up in the bath. My partner at 6’3” couldn’t stand in the bath at all due to the lowered ceiling.

Lovely place with everything we needed
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, using it as a base to explore the lakes. The house has everything we needed and was very cosy and comfortable. The shower was interesting as my partner is 6'2" and the ceiling is a little low, but he managed. Grange-over-sands is a lovely little town, with some good takeaways and walks along the promenade. We would return if we visit the lakes again.
Lovely little apartment perfect for a couple or a solo traveler holiday. The place has two floors : a kitchen/living room with a balcony upstairs and bedroom with a toilet downstairs. Kitchen was equipped for everything you might need for cooking and the balcony was spacious enough to have breakfasts with a magnificent sea view. The bed was very comfortable and the place was quite and peaceful so we slept very well.
Location is great - it’s situated in the little town within a few minutes walking distance to food stores, pubs and restaurants. Its right by the beach so lovely for seaside walks. It’s a 30 minute drive to the Windermere lake.
We really enjoyed our stay and had amazing time here. Will be returning!
