Great place!

Came up for a long weekend of snowmobiling. Place is as advertised. Robin & Bill are great hosts. Heated garage and sauna were both great bonus options! Would definitely stay again. Thank you, Robin & bill.

Soothing

It's been a hard summer medically for us. This brought us more peace than we have had for awhile. The beauty of the bay in front of us, the breeze through the tree leaves and just the calmness was perfect. We will come back here.

A wonderful stay!

We were so impressed with this lovely cottage home on the water! It was clean, so beautifully decorated, and cozy. The location could not be beat, as we could walk right onto the private beach and/or into town in a matter of minutes! The beds were comfy and the living space so cozy. Robin was a wonderful host and was very helpful when we had questions about the area. The thoughtful welcome note, along with some local goodies upon arrival really set the tone for the most wonderful stay. We hope to be back! Thank you!

Relaxing Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay in the little town of Grand Marais. The house is right on the bay and it is so relaxing to sit out on the deck and watch the boats and the beautiful sunrises.

Perfect little hide a way

We loved our stay here, it felt private and secluded but at the same time it is within walking distance to food, beaches, and coffee! The home has so many magical touches that made it incredibly convenient. We just loved our time there!

Just what we needed!

As our first trip to the UP and randomly choosing Grand Marais and this home to stay in, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. House is cute, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The view is gorgeous and water access is a few footsteps away. Robin left some local goodies as a welcome gift and stopped by to introduce herself and had some helpful tips for us. This was just the getaway our family needed. Lots of wonderful memories made this week!

Relaxing and beautiful

Everything was amazing. The views. The hikes. The people were so nice. Robin and Bill were excellent hosts. The house was clean and very welcoming. We will be back for sure. Bring groceries or stop an hour or two before you arrive. Not much to choose from on groceries, and it’s $$. For anything last minute, go to the Bayshore gas station. Much better than the Superior Market. Overall awesome trip.

Spring break relaxing family getaway

We absolutely LOVED this West Bay Cottage and the peaceful little town of Grand Marais! Our main purpose for our stay was to hunt for agate rocks and Yooperlites as well as see waterfalls and other scenic areas in Munising. The location of this comfy house was PERFECT for just that! We arrived at the house with a personal welcome note as well as a few sweet gifts! The house had everything we needed and the sleeping arrangements were VERY comfortable! And the view from the back deck was absolutely breathtaking! The hostess was SUPER nice, VERY pleasant to talk to, and accommodated our needs! We also loved the quiet town and all of the little quaint shops and restaurants they had there! We would DEFINITELY recommend this cottage to stay at! I know that we will again in the near future!

Wow!

We had such a great weekend at the house! Super clean and well thought out spaces. The access to the beach and water, despite the cold, was key to our enjoyment. Everything was fabulous, and a warm welcome from our Host was a special treat.

What a perfect retreat on Lake Superior. Quiet, beautiful and wonderful place to stay at the end of a busy day in Pictured Rocks park. My daughter loved the beach, like it was her "own campfire." Very homy, wonderful touches, loved the art. Would come back. Thank you!

Amazing property

Lovely place and has a fully-stocked kitchen with almost every small gadget that you could possibly need. Close enough to walk into the cute town of Grand Marais and nice beach. Would definitely stay again!

On the Bay

We had a fantastic time at Bill and Robins beautiful and cozy home on the bay. Spectacular view and extremely short walk into town. Our stay was short, but could see staying for a week or longer to enjoy all the water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, etc) they provided in their garage & outdoor fire pit, hammock, etc. Our journey there was to hike Picture Walks trails which were breathtaking and easy to get to. Cozy home away from home

This property has everything you could possibly need or want for the perfect “up north” getaway. Robin and Bill have thought of everything! The views from the deck are outstanding, and it’s close enough to walk to town. Kitchen is stocked with every gadget you need for making meals. Cute cozy fireplace that really puts out the heat, and books, games, even binoculars for animal watching! We couldn’t have asked for a better first-time VRBO. Robin has set the bar high!
