Beautiful
We really enjoyed our stay. Property is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s close to town, on a lake. Clean rooms, access to backyard garden and dock well maintained. Murphy bed in basement is a plus. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Wonderful location and views
We were treated to not one, but two moose in the backyard on our first night there. It was absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Access to the water for our paddle boards was so nice. We loved sitting in the living room and looking at the views. The Shadow Mountain Lookout trail is walking distance away and well worth the effort! On our last morning a bear tried to get into our secured trash can and the neighbors trash. He/she was unsuccessful but I would have paid extra to watch had I known it was going on.

Beware of Property Manager
Grand Mountain Rentals does not deserve the privilege of managing this extraordinary property. The owners should be aware of their poor ambassadorship and zero regard for basic hospitality. After a weekend on this glorious property, we were yanked out of the peace this place provides, by the nasty treatment of a GMR associate. We were granted a late check out, but she did not communicate this to her cleaning company. The crew arrived 30 min prior to our check out. That's when I received a rude and frantic phone call. I was caught off guard by her tirade, and disrespect. She said things like, "You're lucky I'm letting you be there," making us feel like delinquents as we were leaving the home better than we found it. My husband and I are courteous, punctual people with respect for rules. I doubt this is how the owners want their guests to feel. (I can tell they have pride in ownership and have raised their son to love it as they have. He mowed the lawn, and took such good care of the boats and the house in a way that would make any mother or father proud.) The woman on the phone dropped the ball and, now, her lack of follow-through became my sudden crisis. She even said, "I'm wasting my time talking to you when you could be getting out of the house..." And, she called us! Making us feel so guilty, when we were holding our end of the agreement. We could not shake the anxiety and anguish she induced. If it was me, I'd fire GMR for treating my business with such little care.

Gorgeous view
We had a wonderful stay at the lakeside chalet, and plan on coming back yearly. We got married on the lake and the pictures dont do justice to how beautiful it is there. The house was really nice and clean, plenty of room for two people.

Absolute best location in Grand Lake!
We loved the Lakeside Chalet! The most beautiful location on Grand Lake. Spectacular views! The home is comfortable and well stocked for all your needs. Super plush master bed with heated sheets! Views out every window. We rented during peak Aspen season. Stunning!! Can’t recommend the home enough.

Beautiful Grand Lake Property
It's better than the pictures! Really. What an awesome place with a real home feel. There was plenty of room for our family of four, the beds were comfortable and we had no problem relaxing. There are a few houses close by but nothing bothered us. I don't think there is a better location on Grand Lake. We would hope to stay again sometime.
