After changing the first room that was assigned to us, we really appreciated the cosiness. The bed was comfortable and there is a nice service to order extra pillows free of charge. We travelled with our baby and the room was big enough. The staff was helpful but not very friendly and pleasant
Fantastic central location, riverside paseo 100 metres away for morning walks; beautiful tree lined boulevard in front; just 300 metres from the most interesting and attractive Centre of town, with Spain's best department store , El Corte Inglés, a stone's throw away. Bars and restaurants all around. Hotel staff superb; rooms well equipped, clean, good winter heating and summer cooling. And recently introduced choice of 4 types of pillow - rock hard pillows used to be one of my only complaints about this hotel where we regularly stay. Superb breakfast and excellent restaurant. Recommended!
Our stay at Vincci Albayzin was just OK and I would not recommend this to my friends and family, unless they want to shop at Corte Inglés. The WIFI service is terrible. You can pay extra for a premium service, but when you stay at a hotel of this category, and pay the price they ask, the least one can expect is a reasonably good connection in the room. I had to go downstairs to the lobby for a reasonable connection, and even that was bad. The location isn't that great either. I'm sure you can find better, and better priced hotels, nearer to the Cathedral and other important sites in Granada. There aren't many restaurants around, and when we arrived we had to go to a bar type place, behind the hotel, to find food. I had also asked the hotel in advance to give me driving instructions as Google Maps indicated we needed to take restricted to roads to get to the hotel. They did not answer my request, and we had to drive through those restricted roads. Hope we don't get a ticket! Breakfast was nice, and the outdoor patio is pretty.
This hotel is very well placed for getting around Granada. Check in was messy but got there in the end. Our car was valet parked and returned upon departure. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's a good hotel for a city break. Breakfast was very good.
Friends recommended the Vincci for our two day stay in Granada. Wonderful architectural character. We found the location to be excellent for accessing the sites by foot. It sits on the pedestrian walkway and is central to everything. The staff were wonderful and the place was spotless. The parking arrangements were no stress thanks to the staff. The courtyard dining ambiance was lovely, however the food was merely adequate in comparison to choices just in the area.
breakfast was limited. hotel looks bigger in the photos. perfect location. outside night noise disturbing from the first floor. great shower. uncomfortable pillows. ok hotel for a weekend. friendly staff. small car park and had to park at public car park about 5 mins walk from hotel.
A good hotel not fare from the historical earth of the city. Room is comfortable but not so large. The staff is pleasant. There is a parking which is a very good thing. The price is very correct for this hotel
We have just spent a 3 day getaway here, and we loved this gracious old hotel. The staff were exceptional, going out of their way at all levels. The location is perfect, and the food was excellent. Take the breakfast..it is lovely, and we particularly enjoyed the bar ...delicious tapas!
I reviewed this hotel a few years back and was not impressed with the service at reception; however that has all changed for the better! We stayed here January 2015, in July 2016 and again in January 2017 This hotel is well located - walking distance to the Corte Inglis and many very good restaurants; and has its own fine restaurant with an excellent buffet breakfast. The tapas served at night in the bar area are also good and inexpensive. Rooms ae small unless you upgrade to a Junior Suite for 40euros extra/night. An excellent value hotel!
I was disappointed with the hotel as they were aware that the road leading to and outside their hotel was closed on our day of arrival due to the customary yearly three kings cavalcade! This should have been informed in email! Staff were indifferent about the problem of Having to look for alternate parking and how to get to them !! I paid in advance parking with reservation - moved my car on the following day to the hotel premises - paid for Parking twice! An email in advance to their clients with details of the event, closure times of road would have been very very helpful ! This is called efficient service !
