The architecture and furnishing had the feel of an old style Granada mansion. The only problem we encountered was a strong odor in our room. However, the staff was very responsive, acknowledged the problem, and arranged for us to move to another room as soon as was possible.
excellent hotel, excellent staffs, service and location, amazing historic bulinding, can’t wait to go back
Great location and staff. We had a room off the courtyard, which was a bit noisier than desired as breakfast was setup and served, and guests gathered to visit in the evening.
This hotel is tucked away at the bottom of the long wander (or climb) up the meandering streets of the the Albaicin, a wonderful neighborhood for exploring on your visit. The hotel is well designed and appointed, our room was beautiful and quiet, and we felt very taken care of. An open air breakfast spot sits in the middle of the building--at least in August this was a treat, and I suspect most other months. The service was excellent -- before and during our visit. Another bonus: it is only a five minute walk to where most of the tour buses going to the Alhambra stop to pick up people.
Wonderful staff great location only problem air conditioner not optimum in room Lots of amenities
The hotel is lovely in an old building with a beautiful interior patio where breakfast is served. The rooms are cozy with old-fashioned charm, but the bathroom is modern, clean, nicely arranged. There are free drinks and snacks available most or all of the day. The location is great - between all the major attractions in Granada, which branch out in different directions. Restaurants are nearby - most of them cater to tourists, but tourism in Granada is huge and hard to escape. The only drawback, as mentioned in another review, is that taxis cannot drive down the hotel's narrow street. If you have a lot of heavy luggage and/or cannot roll or carry it through three short streets, then this hotel is not the right place. Otherwise it's great.
