This hotel has five star prices but nothing else to match. We had requested a room in the older (more historic) building and upon check-in we were shown to a barebones room in the basement with weird bars on the window. When we refused to accept the room we were told that they would give us another room in the new wing for our first night and move us to a better room in the older wing for the second night. We accepted and appreciated the service. The staff moved our luggage while we were out at the Alhambra but never moved some very expensive toiletries I had left in the bathroom - a fact that I only realized after we had checked out and gone to another city. I've never experienced this type of casual thievery by staff in any place before and it left a terrible impression. Apart from this incident, the hotel itself wasn't too great. The rooms were average (we saw/experienced three different ones) and service was average too. Don't waste your money on this place.

Lots of caracther in this hotel. It is an old historic palace with plenty of surprises (each floor has a diferente layout/floor plan) People were extremely helpful and nice In the middle of the old city of Granada Plenty to shop around and awesome tapas to enjoy

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed at a room in the old building. Our reservation included a spa access but since the spa was being renovated the hotel staff upgraded us to a larger room that was something like a suite with a living room, bathroom and a bedroom. The bathroom was huge and it had anything a traveler may need, including a conditioner, but also a sewing kit, a tooth brush with a tooth paste and so on. We only wished the room was off the ground floor but otherwise we had no complaints. The hotel service was great, especially at the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and breakfast items were never a miss. An extra plus for freshly squeezed orange juice which is not as common in Spain. The location of the hotel is good as well. It is about 5 minutes walking from the main old portion of the town where all the shopping happens. Overall, this hotel provided great experience for us and we will gladly stay at it again when we visit Granada next time.

We had some very helpful staff during our stay and was supported by them in a number of ways. At one point the street noise was intolerable and the front desk did what they could to stop it. In the long run, the management knew I did not get a good rest and they gave me some credit for my stay as well as waived my parking fee. I felt very appreciative of that gesture. It was a busy weekend in Granada and they made our stay comfortable. The location of this hotel is great, easy access to everything.

I wrote a bad review about this place almost a year ago and it’s been pending ever since then. I checked into my five star hotel room and on my last night when I returned to my room I noticed something was off. My bag was disheveled things in the closet were out of place but I didn’t think anything about It till I got into bed and tried to use me computer WHICH WAS MISSING! Along with my IPad. I had an early morning flight which I had to get up at 4am to get ready for. The night manager was disinterested at first until I got loud, he called hotel manager who said don’t worry they are insured for this. Then they said that my “do not disturb” sign was on door so It couldn’t be one of their employees I said that PROVED it was an inside job cause a stranger from the out side would presume the hotel guest was in the room. It had to be someone who knew the room was empty regardless of sign. The corporation has just thrown one hurdle after another and It is still not resolved almost a year later Let’s see if trip advisor will finally post this review. My first review has been pending for almost a year as well

Beautiful hotel, inside and out. Fantastic staff throughout the hotel - very welcoming, friendly and highly capable. Restaurant was excellent. Good location. Highly recommended for individuals, couples or family travelers.

Perfect service, very helpful. Hotel staff provided a room upgrade to a significant larger room. The hotel and rooms are so beautiful, mixing modern with historic building. Room and bathroom was extremely large. Nice terrace. Thanks for the upgrade.

This is a lovely old house, transformed very tastefully into a boutique luxury hotel. Lots of old wood, stone and marble. Rooms had every last touch of comfort. Breakfast was served in an adjoining, more modern building and was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly, but with a nice old-fashioned courtesy.

The property, staff, service and location is excellent. The staff is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make the experience exquisite. However, a big minus is the internet connection and speed which is useless for a business traveler! The hotel staff tried their best to reset the internet several times. The room view was ok. It would be useful to have the view unblocked. There are panels obstructing the view which looks nice from outside but annoying, This important feature of having functioning Wifi and proper view is important. It needs to be addressed to deserve a 5 star review! This results in a 3.5 star rating.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. In fact, this may be my most favorite hotel ever. We were given a free upgrade from a junior suite to the presidential suite. The room was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. I almost didn't want to leave the room to explore the city. The staff was warm and friendly, everything we needed was provided. Breakfast was fine, the usual bar breakfast plus added eggs, and cooked meats. All was great. Internet was just ok however, and went in and out - just not as good as signal as we get at home. But other than that, the hotel was amazing. Great location too.
