Hotel based in reformed, palace type building. Beautiful rooms. In annex more infrastructure like restaurant. Well located friendly staff. Lack of gym for me personally big minus for 5 star hotel and overall find hotel not a good price quality ratio

If you love boutique hotels, you'll love this. Hip and funky, with a lovely front desk staff and a surly bunch in the dining room. We had a strange room - big, but with half a window. Also, the hotel loves it's orange scented air freshener a bit too much. But the location is great and it's clean and pristine and I'd recommend it.

We spent 3 nights here and loved it. The staff arranged our guided tour of The Alhambra and also suggested a good place to eat. The room was spacious and well appointed and we appreciated the little extras.

We had a really nice stay at Palacio de los Patos. We booked 2 of the Hospes hotels for our holiday in Andalusia. One in Granada and one in Cordoba. The Granada hotel is a bit older than the one in Cordoba - that reflects correctly in the price but certainly not in the service. On the contrary. At arrival we were offered an upgrade to a higher category of room. A little bottle of wine, some snacks and a fresh flower set immediately the tone for the rest of our stay. Really personal approach - friendly staff from front desk till kitchen. We got a thorough explication about the cities highlights as well as the ongoing Semana Santa - what was really helpful. Beforehand they helped me with bookings for our visit of the Alhambra as well with restaurant bookings. Also their location in the city center makes it easy to visit everything by foot. I can only recommend this place.

Beautiful restored mansion. This is a 5 star property, staff & service was excellent. Location was good. We walked all over to old district & found the location was close enough but not immersed in all tourist areas

We enjoyed our stay enormously. It was a beautifully elegant hotel with lovely decor . On arrival the reception staff were welcoming and very helpful sorting out a problem with our Alhambra tour. As well as breakfast we dined in the restaurant. The food was of a superb quality and the staff charming.

My husband and I booked this hotel for 4 nights in February for our wedding anniversary, it's a lovely place with lovely people and with its location right in the city centre and a mere 15 minutes' walk from The Alhambra, it couldn't be better. We stayed in a lovely room and the hotel had left us a bottle of fizz upon our arrival although we didn't have time to drink it and couldn't take it away with us either as we only went with hand luggage - so we left it for the room attendant instead! Staff were really really helpful and packed us a little picnic breakfast for us as we had to leave at the crack of dawn for a very early flight! Would definitely recommend this place and we will very happily return!

If visiting Granada Spain this would be an excellent choice of hotel to stay at, the rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms are updated and have great showers. The buffet breakfast is varied and fresh. Staff more than exceed expectations for their service level. Carmen and Muhammad were professional and helpful with all of our inquiries and requests.

This hotel is a perfect combination of old world architectural splendor and modern convenience and comfort. It's also close enough to walk to most of the top sites in Granada but a bit outside the crazy tourist commotion. The staff is most helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the old part of the hotel which is very cool. The only real ding on the place, and it seems to be true of all better hotels in Spain (or maybe Europe), is that price of breakfast is just out of whack with reality. Turn left outside the hotel and there are two nice local cafes where you can get cafe and breakfast at a reasonable price. Overall, this is a great hotel for your visit to Granada. We were there for two nights.

We found this hotel via Secret Escapes. Not having been to Granada before you don't know what center is, what is good. I'm very happy we stayed here. The staff is fantastic and helpful. They helped multiple times as we needed with a smile on their face. Thanks especially to Javier, Stefani and Fran from reception and Carolina from the restaurant. The hotel is located in a historical old mansion. The staircases and some elements if the original design are still preserved. 20 rooms are in this house, the other 20 are in the new building next door. They upgraded us for free to one of the suites in the old house (no. 43). It was simply beautiful and comfortable. We are fuzzy to sleep, but we slept like a rock. In the fantastic bathroom, I have never seen that many full sets of toiletries in any hotel we have been: 3 sets, one in the sink, one in the shower, one in the bathtub. Replenished at libitum. Breakfast buffet was not that big but it was really good quality. You can also order hot dishes from the menu and I liked that very much. Carolina at the breakfast was super kind, and giving us that personalized touch: on day 2 she already knew which table we liked and how we liked our coffee. They provide also a free filtered water in the room. Kind of unnecessary given that water is good from the tap, but i like the comfort of having the water next to me. Kettle with hot drinks options are also provided. When we got the car, we got a bottle of water for the trip. Thoughtful detail! The hotel sends you an email I'm advance letting you know of access routes or asking if you need reservations for Alhambra or Flamenco. They ended up being useful as i could not prepare in advance for this trip. The map and information they provide are also very good. The hotel is very well located. In less than 10minutes you are already visiting main sites. In less than 5 you already have shopping options or narrow streets to discover. Walking down from Alhambra took us no more than 30 minutes, and a taxi to San Nicolas in Albaicin was less than 5 Euros. And it's cute that the hotel itself has a plaque as one of the interesting sites in Granada... They have valet parking on site for 26 Euros. Not cheap but very convenient and on par with any other European capital or bigger metropolis. Three things for improvement: 1. the room is big enough to have a bit more drawer/storage. We are only two and struggled to use the closet drawers. I ended up keeping my stuff in my packing cubes. 2. Instant coffee, really? 3. My only experience at the beautiful spa: the jet pool was really nice. The sauna, broken (bad luck for me), but the steam room was cold -and I couldn't see how to make it work, and it seems the only person available was away providing treatment to someone else. I waited for about 20 minutes and left frustrated. Not having a second person or back up from the reception at the spa was a first to me. These three things are minor compared to the overall experience. I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys for a great experience!!!
