Ideal vacation property for a sunny stay in Provence. Located at the foot of the charming mountain village of Gordes, it welcomes you in the Vaucluse not far from the Luberon. This large property is divided into three parts. A separate half of the house is occupied by the owners and another area is also rented to vacation guests. The pool is for your exclusive use. With an enclosed garden lined with olive trees and a sunny terrace, the accommodation is the perfect oasis of peace for pure relaxation. A pleasantly shaded terrace invites you to linger and dine. The interiors are comfortable and bright and equipped with high quality furniture. Gordes is officially one of the most beautiful villages in the whole of France and is especially known for the nearby ochre rocks, which promise its visitors an unforgettable walk. Gordes also attracts visitors with the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Sénanque and the village of the Gaulish stone huts (Village des Bories). From the Tour des Baumes you have an exceptional panorama. Go to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse to experience the beautiful spring of the Sorgue, and then continue your trip to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, also called the Venice of Provence because of its canals. A floating market awaits you there, as well as numerous antique stores and junk stores. Das Haus, die Lage des Hauses und der Garten mit großem Pool sind wunderbar. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich, sprechen aber nur französisch.Allerdings ist die Beschreibung des Hauses nicht mehr aktuell. Entsprechend der Beschreibung haben wir das Haus für 6 Erwachsene gebucht.Es gibt aber nur 2 Schlafzimmer und 1 Bad. Das dritte Schlafzimmer (Bilder 6 und 28 in der Beschreibung) im Obergeschoss war verschlossen und konnte daher nicht genutzt werden. Stattdessen musste eine kleine Kammer mit 2 kleinen Betten (Kinderbetten) benutzt werden.Neben einem Badezimmer gab es nur noch eine separate Dusche ohne weitere Ausstattung und eine separate Toilette, jedoch kein zweites richtiges Badezimmer.Daher eignet sich das Haus nur für maximal 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder.Aufgrund des nicht zur Verfügung stehenden dritten Schlafzimmers ist die nutzbare Fläche deutlich kleiner als die in der Beschreibung abgegebenen 127 qm.Darüberhinaus sollte erwähnt werden, dass es im Haus kein WLAN gibt und das mobile Internet meistens überlastet ist. Daher ist im Haus praktisch kein Internet verfügbar.
