Tulip Inn Media Park Hilversum

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tulip Inn. The staff were very helpful, our room was very nice and very clean. We were in the room at the front on the first floor. The location is really convenience. Just a ten minute walk from the center and railway station.

Stayed here a night, for practical reasons, not bad, qite local, rooms are a bit smallish, not suitable for international traveler with larger suitcase. Would use again if we are in the area and just needs to have a place to sleep

I stayed in 1 of the apartments. It had plenty of room to move around, the kitchen was a blessing as I ate breakfast every morning in apartment. It is an easy walk to the Central Station, as well as the Moet, and morning Wednesday and Saturday morning Markets. I would stay here again, and will recommend to others to stay

This is a small hotel in a pleasant residential area about 10 minutes' walk from the Hilversum Media Park, and a short taxi ride from Hilversum station. It has a bar and spacious airy restaurant. The restaurant menu was rather limited although the food was fine. Breakfast was a good spread with hot food, cereals, bread, croissants, sliced meats and cheese, fruit - all the usuals, plus a good coffee machine (a major plus point for me). The room was rather dark, only having a tall thin window near one end. There was no armchair - just another desk chair in the corner. My bed had a sort of foam mattress, and when I first sat on it my heart sank - that sort is no good for anyone with back trouble. However, I found that it was OK to lie on and my back suffered no ill effects. The staff all speak very good English. The best way to get to Hilversum from Schiphol airport is by train - it takes 30-40 minutes and is very good value at around 8 euros.

We stayed two nights. Good size room, no air con but a fan provided (we didn't need it) and our room was not overlooked so we could fling open the window for fresh air. Quiet neighbourhood location. Good selection of food in restaurant and breakfast was varied and plentiful. Free parking right outside in hotel premises is always a bonus. Just a five-minute walk to the town which had loads of good shopping and cafes.

We were visiting friends locally, and this hotel was perfect for hilversum, central location, good size room and excellent value including a reasonable and filling breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful

Gave this hotel another chance, but again left me very disappointed...The rooms are still out dated, bed is small and bathroom very old and with no heating... Staff were ok but nothing special, will not come back again.

We walked from the station with our luggage and it was approx 10 mins. Our room on floor 2 was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We walked into Hilversum which took less than 10 minutes so shops were close to hand. Only stayed one night but staff were welcoming.

I only spent 1 night here but I enjoyed everything during my stay. Staff was polite, room was clean and cozy, bed was comfortable. I was staying in the hotel, not apartments. There was a kettle with some tea and coffee, haidryer, everything you need to feel comfortable.

Well located, about 10mins walk from Hilversum station, and about 15mins walk to the Media Park. Unfortunately, when I arrived (10pm), they were not serving any food and there was no room service available so the only option was to walk in to Hilversum town centre and find something to eat - plenty of places open! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and told me how to walk in to town. The hotel bar is open until 0100, so I had a quick drink before turning in - the service was polite and friendly, as usual in Holland. The room (42) was situated on the 2nd floor and was a good size. There is no air conditioning, just a very hot radiator and a small opening window. The room was clean and comfortable but quite worn out. The bed had a very soft mattress, which would not be my preference. The WiFi worked well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for solo business travellers - it could do with a refurbishment, but is well located and probably the best option in Hilversum.
