Nothing not to like here, so five stars is an easy call. So what stands out?Location: Easy walk to river in two directions, direct access to the awesome Golden bike trail network, and an excellent IGA (grocery) right across the street. Trans Canada railway is close by, and trains pass through frequently (a plus if you dig trains) but they are amazingly quiet and with the back deck facing the mountains and away from downtown there’s very little city noise. Modern design: This isn’t some old condo remodeled into a rental; it’s a modern apartment in what appears to be a very new concrete building with up-to-date safety features and codes. HVAC was AMAZING. Plumbing and electric tip-top.No clutter: Space was clear of all the usual useless owner flotsom, like empty boxes and mysterious and abandoned electronics. Everything that was there served some purpose and there was actually room to put some of OUR stuff.Gaming room: The little extra room with a desk and chair made an excellent bedroom for our cat. Other possible uses sorta suggest themselves. Back deck: The elevated patio “out back” was where we spent most of awake time here. Nuff said. Pet policy: We were traveling with our cat and were nervous about it. I was also afraid that a “pet friendly” condo would be all trashed out and reek of dog. Well the place was spotless and while I can’t speak for Luci, I sure didn’t smell any dogs and she took to the place like she wished it was home. I kinda did too.
