The new townhouse is situated in a secure complex with lots of shops, restaurants and venues near by. The double bay garage is excellent. That's the positives. Isha was not great at responding to messages before our stay so the writing was on the wall. Check-in details came as photos with no explanations.The unit complex is completely fenced and we were not provided with a code to the main gate to access our accommodation. For two hours we were stuck outside our accommodation with half of our family locked out on the other side of the fence because Isha had forgotten to provide the gate's code and wouldn't answer messages. I ended up calling Stayz for help who connected me with Isha even though I had messaged her several times explaining the problem and providing my number so she could call me urgently.While the unit is new with nice furniture, it really isn't that clean. The rusted pots and burnt pans are a health hazard and there is a lack of basic utensils provided. The drawers haven't been cleaned in a while. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Hope island - family vacation

Great location, close to plenty attractions, with supermarkets/cafes nearby. Plenty of space, very clean. Perfect for our family stay.

No communication

I booked the accommodation and I could not find the confirmation. When I looked up accommodation is said “unavailable”. I searched through emails and still couldn’t find confirmation. I booked alternate accommodation as I had promised my sons a holiday. The only communication I received from the host was at 3:15 on the day of check in saying it was ready. I was horrified.I advised I had to cancel and what was the refund policy. As it was less than 5 days there was none even when I had booked for 6 days. No refund available for the final day. I requested a refund for the cleaning fee. I have not received a response.Lesson to learn hosts, communicate more with your guests. Show some level of empathy and compassion. This host does not possess these qualities. I am very disappointed.

great location, terrible first impression

couldnt get hold of hist for check- in took nearly 2 hours- although was given 20% refund for the arrival day, a couple of appliances in house were damaged or broken before we got there, kids handprints all over the house, and ants crawling in from a corner by the door- location was good and once we settled in house was ok for what we needed as a base camp- would probally use a hotel next time though.

Probably a lovely place but terrible communication

Never got to see this house as only got checkin details at 3.02pm on the day (after no reply to messages for 4 hours asking for info) with a supposed upgrade, new property was fine but was clearly a last minute scramble as it was not properly prepared. Host only replied finally after I complained…. with a snippy “you can have your original house tomorrow” which clearly meant it was not ready on our booked check in date. No apology, explanation or offer of a discount (Even a token discount would have shown some care factor for leaving us thinking we had nowhere to stay all day)

Gold Coast's Gold Accommodation

Absolutely amazing property. Has everything a Family could ever ask for in a holiday home. Close to all Entertainment/Theme Parks. Very close and convenient to shops, restaurants. Quiet area and relaxing calming surroundings.
