Bayview Beach Holiday Apartments

We stayed at Bayview Beach this weekend and found the place fabulous, great rooms, clean and close to everything. Caroline and Laurie were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. We hired a 2 br apartment and were pleasantly suprised with the balcony and gorgeous views. Overall very happy and we will be back again

We had a very enjoyable 3 night say. The room, whilst the decor was dated, it was large and spotlessly clean with views over the water with a great ocean breeze. We were made very welcome from the management. They were that helpful they assisted me getting my boat in and out of the basement carpark as it was to high to be towed. The complex is located a short walk from cafes, IGA, restaurants (Butter Rhythm is awesome) and a short drive to Harbour. We will be staying again.

We stayed in unit 25 on the third floor which was very spacious and immaculately presented. The apartment had everything we needed and more. The underground parking and lift make the place accessible for luggage and the less able. The managers were great and very helpful. The one problem we had (couldn't figure out the washing machine) was sorted promptly with a smile and sense of humour. We arrived on a Sunday, when the office is closed but the managers were there to get us sorted and settled in. The apartment was quite noisy the nights we stayed but the noise seemed to be coming from neighbouring properties, no doubt enjoying the holiday season. We used the pool and spa only once whilst there but they were very clean and well maintained as well. Just a note: The wi-fi is not free which is understandable given this is not a hotel and the fact there are a number of permanent residents rather than solely all holiday visitors.

We stayed here for a few nights and were swayed by the good ratings. The apartments are in a good location and the owner was very helpful on arrival with directions to the closest restaurants, supermarkets etc. The apartment, while spacious, was a little dark. My biggest disappointment was that the floors were dirty. Within an hour the soles of our feet were dirty, I'm not sure that they'd been mopped in a while. The beds were comfortable enough and there was plenty of wardrobe space if you like to unpack. We were on the ground floor and the balcony was dark with no view so didn't get used. Nice enough place to stay when you're just there to sleep, as we were, but nice clean floors would be a big plus for us.

My wife son and I stayed for three weeks last school holidays and had a magnificent stay. The apartment was clean spacious and had everything we required. We were treated to brilliant sunrises from the balcony and even saw Dolphins in the broadwater on three occasions. What really made the stay was the friendly and diligent managers who could not do enough for us to make the stay even more memorable than it already was. They greeted us with smiles, were happy to chat and did everything they could to ensure our stay was comfortable. We cannot thank them enough. We will be back.

Arrived at 3am and neighbour in next block complained then next night sitting on balcony enjoying dinner at 2130 and phone call from management because same neighbour had complained again. Told we had to be inside by 8pm. Shower in ensuite had worms coming out between the tiles. Management did sort that. Hounded 3 times to pay the bill when we were told that it was to be paid the day before we left. Manager let himself into the apartment to see if we had done a runner!!. Another noise complaint because we were celebrating our friends last night before his wedding (the purpose of our trip!). Told by manager that they weren't holiday apartments despite the sign outside saying they were. When this was pointed out he came back with not party apartments. Holiday lets are few in a residential complex so if you want to have a fun holiday don't go there. fun is not allowed! On a nicer note the manageress is lovely

We stayed 7 days at Bayview Beach apartments in March - Unit 25 on the third floor and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views from the balcony over the Broadwater were spectacular. The 2 bedroom unit was well appointed and very roomy for the 3 of us, secure parking and elevator for my elderly dad were great. The location is convenient for the theme parks , restaurants and shopping. There is a great area for children a short walk away and it is a pleasant area for the less mobile of us to walk. Laurie and Caroline were excellent hosts- very friendly and they went out of their way to help us - Laurie also has a great sense of humour!!! The road out front of the apartments was busy during the day but we had no trouble sleeping at night- even with the balcony doors wide open. We would certainly stay here again if we visited the Gold Coast

Our family stayed during school holidays for a Gold Coast holiday. Roomy apartment with views of the water. All we needed was supplied in the excellent kitchen. Quiet inlet beach across the road, perfect for a walk and kids to paddle and play in the sand. Beach toys were available in the reception which was most helpful! BBQ, spa and pool area were well maintained (BBQ was spotless). Area was nice and quiet, away from the bustle of Surfers. Local shops a short walk away. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay at these apartments. View of Southport Broadwater spectacular. Close to restaurants, beach, shops, basically all amenities. Room was clean and spacious - only one plumbing problem which was swiftly fixed by management. Would recommend to families, couples and singles. Very friendly and helpful Management.

We recently spent 7 enjoyable days in Apartment 18 on the 2nd floor facing the Broadbeach. The 2 Bed apartment was fully equipped with everything you will need, well located away from the busier areas (surfers/broadbeach), but close to Main Beach, Southport, all the theme parks, excellent value, and plenty of shopping opportunities close by. The Broadbeach opposite is a lovely spot, and is a hive of activity dawn till dusk, with walkers, joggers, cyclists and wildlife all going about their daily objectives. Fishing is pretty straightforward, with light tackle with worms for Whiting, and whitebait/prawns/ attracting Bream, Flathead, and other species. Laurie & Caroline are excellent hosts, being very friendly and helpful. If you do not like traffic noise, then I would ask the hosts about a room away from the main road, Otherwise, I would highly recommend a stay at the Bayview Beach apartments.
