Convenient for the City Centre, The SEC and The Hydro, but this hotel has seen better days and now appears to be being used as a refugee hostel. Homeless people sleeping rough in the immediate vicinity. Demolition of buildings around it and new construction is taking place very close by. My room was clean and the bed comfortable but the furnishings in the room were old and showed signs of this. Ironing board and iron were in good condition and the kettle in the room looked brand new. My trip to Glasgow was planned late and this was the closest option for the SEC for the time I needed to be there. I will not be booking this hotel in the future.

The room was grubby and tired. It needed a full deep clean throughout and the furniture needed to be relaced as it was very badly chipped and scratched and had not looked like it had been replaced in a very long time. It looked like there was no care taken with any of the repairs made in the room, all very badly done. I would not stay here again. The room was very over priced at £219 for one night with no breakfast.
