We loved our stay here. Travelling for business, but traveled with our two children and made a mini holiday of it. We had a huge room....way bigger than any 2 bedroom apartment we have stayed in before. And we do travel quite a bit in Aust, in NZ and in the Pacific islands. This apartment was bigger than most residential apartments. Excellent kitchen and everything you need if you want to home cook. Breakfast was great, beds very comfy, Two big bathrooms with very good quality soap, hair shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Fluffy towels. Really lovely interior design throughout. Great big balcony with outside dining as well as the inside dining. Right in the CBD, but one street back from the main st, so no noise from local pubs or restaurants. Customer service was the best we received from our entire 8 day road trip. Actually it was some of the best customer service, we have EVER received. All staff from housekeeping to Front desk to Management were super friendly and very very helpful. Been a bit tech useless, the manager even broke away from his evening meal in a local restaurant to come back and help me sort out the TV, Foxtel etc (we don't have it at home, so I got confused and started pushing random buttons). Absolutely Above and Beyond was our experience at Gladstone Central Apartments. Thank you for a fabulous stay. Simone, Mike and daughters.
Staff accommodated an early check in free of charge as we had red eye flights and were exhausted. They also looked after luggage on check out for a few hours while we filled in the day. Breakfast facilities in the common room were great. The room was perfect for the 2 off us and in a great location. With walking distance to the city central area.
First time stayer's at this hotel. We were very impressed with the size of the room and the view out to the sea was great (room 506). It was quiet and peaceful, no road noise. Went down for a continental breakfast and got told that it was free (we had not booked or pre-paid for a breakfast). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to stay in Gladstone. Went to Diceys Bar and Grill for dinner. Had the Schnitzel, it was big and tasty, well worth the $14 we paid. Fun place to visit.
We found these apartments difficult to find, but once there parking was easy. Our apartment was on the bottom level, and had a very musty smell, which we mentioned to the management. The apartment was very dark, with the balcony and windows overshadowed by big trees, and also overlooked by another block of apartments. There were no bedroom reading lights. But there was a fully equipped kitchen. Our balcony was showered by cigarette ash from people smoking above.
When we arrived they upgraded us to a penthouse suite which was fantastic. It was huge with great views across Gladstone and surrounding areas from the balconies. It had two bathrooms one with a spa in it, which was great after a long drive, a good size kitchen with dishwasher, dining suite and lounge area. Outside entertaining area was great and undercover. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Gladstone. Breakfast was included which was a do it yourself in the breakfast area down stairs. You had plenty to chose from from cereals, yogurt, bacon, eggs toast etc plus juice, tea or coffee. Very good value stay for the money.
We found this accommodation to be a lovely home away from home while repair work was being done to our house. 2 bd penthouse apartment with lovely sized balcony for an afternoon wine. Our package included continental breakfast every morning with a decent selection of cereals, breads, fruit, yoghurt, juice & tea and coffee facilties. Beds were very comfortable. King sized bedroom and a queen in 2nd with ensuite. Main bathroom had laundry in it and a spa bath. Central to everything within walking distance and undercover parking. Full kitchen and laundry in room as well.
Clean and well maintained modern apartments. Comfortable beds, washer & dryer (with single serve complimentary laundry powder). Appreciated the desks that allowed me to continue on with my work (did I mention free wi-fi). Complimentary serve yourself breakfast downstairs from 7am appreciated although rooms also had microwave, bar fridge toaster etc Walking distance to a couple of eateries (Rocksalt Tapas Bar) This place had everything I needed ....will stay again.
Very clean and pleasant Appartment Bed was very comfortable with nice pillows The only complaint as a women is the lack of mirrors and a dark bathroom, Staff friendly and welcoming and good walking distance to restraunts !!!
Had an overnight stay here and it was excellent. Very welcoming, fast wifi, super comfy bed, great location and well priced for Gladstone. Very close to the main strip of restaurants and pubs.Forget the more expensive joints, stay here it's fantastic.
Very nice & extremely helpful managers. Costs the same but much nicer than a hotel room. Kitchen, Living area with sofas, etc., 2 bedrooms. Nice breakfast (included) with a lot of choices and great coffee. I would not even think of staying somewhere else if I was to ever return to Gladstone.
