Second Stay

This is the second stay for an annual high school reunion (5 friends in their 40s). Open floor plan house with great patio and kitchen. Plenty room for 5, could probably could comfortably fit 10 adults. Golf cart available. Marina and Ralphs bar right around the corner… we walked a few times. Host is experienced and helpful and communicative. A low key and fun place to spend a long weekend.

Great Location

Walking distance to marina and resort. Very cute neighborhood, great for running or walking. The golf carts are a big thing there, so renting it is fun. Very friendly community. The house accommodated our 3 families just fine because it is well laid out. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. We had a great time.

Great Lake house & location

We enjoyed our stay at Chateau Relaxo! The accommodations were perfect for our group of various ages. The covered patio and fire pit area were our group’s favorite gathering spots, and the kids loved the tree swing. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Owner was responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

Great getaway

There were 10 of us, 2 men and 8 women all over 65 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were perfect. I will recommend this house to any large group.

New Year's Reunion

We used this property as location to meet with friends over the New Year. The home was roomy with plenty of space for 8 children and 4 adults (ages 11-19). Bedrooms and baths were very clean. Property manager was helpful and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place, especially during the summer. The lake and boat docks are convenient. A living room fireplace for winter guests would have made it even cozier, but the Christmas tree in the living room was a nice touch.

Excellent property!

This is our 2nd time staying here and will not be our last! The property is beautiful and has everything you could need. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are all very comfortable. It is the perfect spot for a large family and the attention to detail in the property is excellent. We love it and Carolyn is great to work with. She is very prompt in answering questions and made it a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back!!

Not Disappointed Chateau Relaxo was very relaxing.

We really enjoyed the quiet and the time of year in Kentucky - many things were closed but we found other interesting things to do. The house was definitely a plus to return to - very spacious and relaxing.

Great Location and Great House

Plenty of room and open floor plan and good for large group. Kitchen was well stocked. House is updated and the outside porch area is great for night cards. Great TV/Sitting area. Walkable to Moors Marina where we rented a boat and Ralph’s Bar which was fun.

Great place for family!

We enjoyed our stay - all 12 of us. Loved all the comfortable beds and the individual AC controls in each room. Kitchen had everything we could ask for. Very easy communication with the owner - very prompt with responses. Nice and close to the marina too!

Yearly (32nd) Family Reunion !

Wonderful place to stay. Works well with my 15 adults staying on the property. Ample parking and walking distance to the Moors Marina. Could use a second fridge but a GREAT place to stay!! We’ll be back next year!!

Memorable Family Time

We were in town for our family’s annual reunion at another property a block away so we didn’t cook meals at the Chateau. The property had everything our family needed - plenty of very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and multiple common areas for four families. It is beautifully decorated, very clean and quiet enough for the littles to nap. We paid for the use of the golf cart which was on the property - so convenient! It is on the street to Moors so it can be a bit noisy but nothing we didn’t expect. It didn’t deter us from using the patio which we loved! We would definitely like to come back!

Beautiful & Convenient

Chateau Relaxo was beautifully decorated and having eight beds was perfect for us! Beds were comfortable, house was beautifully decorated with new furniture, was clean, well-stocked with kitchen appliances & utensils & Moors Marina was within walking distance! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Kentucky Lake!
