The staff speak English or Mandarin hence communication was a breeze for me. They were very friendly, helpful and polite. The location of the ryokan is within walking distance to the town and close to the train station. Hotel provides a bus shuttle to the train station. From the train station to the hotel, there is also a complimentary ride. I had a very pleasant stay at the ryokan and highly recommend it.

This is a great onsen experience. Great service and friendly staff. The baths are good and clean, and the kaiseki food is fantastic. Building is a bit old, but the traditional rooms were comfortable and atmospheric. Would go again!

Ryokan was not too far from Gero Station. Free Shuttle Bus service to the Ryokan was awesome. For couples who will like to enjoy onsen together, there is a private onsen available for booking at 2,200 Yen for 45 mins.
