Beautiful place, wonderful neighborhood. It’s just that people have been complaining about the furniture for 6 months (other reviews). It’s another example of what we’re finding more and more of. Corporate rentals where they really don’t care about the guest experience. It rents- good enough. We were also without water for a day. Possibly not their fault but you have to wonder. They asked us (we’re in our 70s) to get up on a ladder to push a button. Out of reach so we had to wait a day. Makes you wonder if they need to buy a new autoclave but again, they don’t care.

The location was great. The air conditioning was a plus since we arrived on a hot humid September weekend. The bed was very comfortable. However, the furniture in the salon is terrible. The apartment is quite dark. The curtains are torn. It wasn't cheap. It was too dark and the living room furniture was too worn out to warrant the price. Of course it was cheaper and more spacious than hotel, but we are now staying in a different apartment in Genoa that is less expensive, but much brighter and equally great as it concerns central downtown location. We are here for a month and I would be depressed if this was our month long rental. For a couple of days, it's fine.

Every piece of upholstered furniture is broken - the wood chair backs are broken, worn out, and even the lamp in the front room is broken. The kitchen - none of the appliances work, except the fridge. They had broken dishes, many outlets did not workThe overall space is very nice, high ceiling, big window, lots of light. The bathrooms are nice, the beds are good, the location is very good, close to good restaurants.

The location was fabulous, the apartment was clean and the bathrooms were quite new. However, the kitchen was minimal, the living room furniture needed to be replaced, and there was insufficient hot water to fill the lovely tubs for a good soaking bath (which is critical for my spouse to manage a medical condition and one of the main reasons we chose the apartment). There was also a fair amount of traffic noise.

Excellent location and space but...

This was a wonderful place to stay—spacious, well-located, and with comfortable beds. However, the main issue was the condition of the living room furniture. The couch and chairs were uncomfortable, with ripped cushions and exposed springs, making it difficult to relax. It’s unfortunate, because with a few simple upgrades, this could be an excellent place. After a long day of walking, not having a comfortable spot to sit and unwind was quite disappointing.

Spacious well located apartmemt

The beds and bathrooms were great and wonderful to have the elevator for luggage even though apartment is on first floor. Only suggestion is that the living room furniture needs replacing, and soon.

Quiet Neighborhood and great location

The host team was very responsive and available. Great courtyard view from bedrooms and quiet for sleeping at night. Perfect walk in all directions for sites and great restaurants in the area. I have already booked my next stay.

Auf den ersten Blick ist die Wohnung hervorragend. Leider waren im Wohnzimmer die Couch und die Sessel durchgesessen, der Couchtisch war sehr instabil - sehr ungemütlich. Wir haben einen Fernseher vermisst. Die Vorhänge im Schlafzimmer machen einen traurigen Eindruck, weil zerschlissenen. Das Besteck und die Töpfe in der Küche haben ihre besten Zeiten schon lange gesehen. Den Türgriff von der Badezimmertür hat man immer wieder in der Hand. Wir geben sonst keine Bewertungen ab und sind auch keine Motzer aber in diesem Fall wollten wir unsere Bewertung unbedingt abgeben. Ansonsten haben wir unseren Aufenthalt in Genua sehr genossen.

Family vacation

This apartment is just perfect! Not only it’s located at a prime area- shopping and dining- but central to travel to other locations- Milan, Portofino, Puglia. It’s within the walking distance to a bus station, train and shopping. For us, we stumbled into the New Years’s celebration concert, which was a pleasant serendipity! Fabio, our welcome staff, added the sprinkle of friendliness. He communicated with us before the trip, checking in and transportation. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to greet us. About the property, pictures just don’t do justice. It is spacious, clean and quiet. The only drawback was running out of toilet papers- which was an easy fix. Thank you so much for making a fabulous visit!
