We decided to do a vacation to wilderness in the smokies as our Christmas this year overall the trip was a great success as my kids were sad to leave and already missed it before we were home the Good stuff: -The check in I dreaded reading reviews (we arrived between 7-8 pm) did not have to wait long and went very smoothly -The waterpark lifeguards were always on top of everything - my son at one point slipped through a tube and lifeguard was spot on dived in immediately -The waterpark was clean and ammenities were nice - my favorite is the sky lights letting the natural light and warmth in -The restraunt staff at Billy jacks snack shack were very friendly -Housekeeping and maintenance were all very friendly always asking if we were enjoying our stay and having a good time - also housekeeping the first morning we left 10ish stuffed animals on bed by accident they kindly made bed up and put them all along the top neatly my son was thrilled when he came back I thought this deserved special mention as they made him smile -The room service pizza was amazing my family loved it and said it was some of the best pizza they ever had, we also ordered a salad which 2 of us shared with plenty to eat and also a kids meal of chicken tenders which was very good- affordable for room service -shuttle service was great - shoutout to Henry he was our favorite - always cheerful and kind -giftshops were nice and well stocked and staff always helpful The bad: -The beds could use an upgrade very

We had a great friends and family weekend stay here. We had so much fun!

Great property. Rooms need updating. Could be cleaner.

The property as a whole was great!! It was close to the other properties which made my stay more convenient.

The employees were extremely nice and welcoming. There was some type of sauce splattered on the bottom of the door and carpet . But other than that. Everything was good

The room smelled like old lady perfume and was very dark. There is no overhead light, just lamps. Two of our 6 pillows had hair and mascara on them. The bed was just ok. The staff was not very friendly but not unwelcoming either. The indoor pool is awesome and they have attentive lifeguards at every station. There was kids running up and down the halls screaming at all hours of the night and the water bottles in the room that look like they are complimentary are not. If you don’t read the pamphlet and you’re thirsty to death you will get charged three dollars. It was just very deceiving. The restaurant down stairs was just snacks and way over priced. We ended up ordering in and getting double the food we would have gotten from downstairs for about the same price. Overall, the amenities are really the only reason I will stay here again. It is supposed to be a luxury resort and it most definitely is not!

I like the place but you get started off wrong. I booked online and didn’t realize there are two campuses. I wasn’t the only one that did so. You have to take a shuttle to main water park. They a one card one towel policy and it’s 30$ if you lose your room card or towel cards, 50$ if you want to check out after 10:30 and many other fees. Check in takes forever!

We loved our stay with our 2 children ages 11 and 15. So much to do, we never left the hotel grounds for 2 days. Room is clean, food is above average ... dinner at firefly was excellent. Staff need to be more knowledgeable and friendly, seems like the resort may be short staffed. Many workers have multiple jobs to do so can leave you waiting for long period of time for simple things and the check in process has lots of room for improvement.

The property is awesome and the water park is great - Clean rooms with a great staff. The buffet was poorly maintained and the food was not that great. Location was also a plus. The main negative here is the tenants stay up after 11:00 and roam the hallways making lost of noise and its hard to sleep when adults act like children.
