The Hillside Hideaway was an awesome cabin! Quaint & cozy to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary month! We've been coming to Gatlinburg for over 40 yrs & have stayed in many places, but this was one of the nicest! Everything you would need! Right on the major road, so very easy access to Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg & of course the GSMNP! Loved the deck, listening to tunes on the outside TV, while relaxing in the hot tub! My only complaint was myself, being short, & having new knee replacements..had a bit of troible getting into the high bed. Lol! But, I managed. Maybe a small step stool to help us shorties. Also...we enjoyed seeing our daily visitor, whom must have a home on the hillside. Would use the side steps...so BEWARE & ALERT. They won't bother you, if you don't bother them..the "Big Fluffly Dogs". Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Me and my fiance were excited the minute we walked in. There was a cozy living room we enjoyed cuddling up at night and watching movies. The bed was PHENOMENAL and comfortable and the jacuzzi was our favorite part. The hot tub was really fun to go in at night! We even saw a bear at some point when we were in the hot tub! 10/10 will go again!!

Very cozy cabin with a king bed, Jacuzzi tub big for two, and walk in rain shower. Both of us enjoyed the amenities.The only challenge we had, and this is not the host's fault, was driving to the location. Very steep driveway and windy mountain roads can be stressful so wanted to note that for travelers; a lot of cabins in Gatlinburg are like this.

The Property was nice, cozy and very romantic. We loved almost everything about it. I could have been cleaned better - a lot of cobwebs, everywhere. And we planned on grilling most of our meals - the grill worked, but barely. It was very dirty and the burners only lit in the very front of the grill. It should be replaced or the listing shouldn't advertise it have a working grill. Even with that, we would that we would love to stay here again.

The property was amazing! Very clean, and the hosts were very kind and responsive over the messaging platform. It felt as though we had our own little area and it was very enjoyable! At first, we had a bit of trouble trying to find the driveway at night, but over time we began to start identifying it better. Thank you so much!

The entire place was amazing from the moment of entry. The most adorable setup in every room. We absolutely loved the decor. Love the bears, and all the windows, and the big mirrors lite up the place. Place was very clean and comfortable. My husband had to drag me out to the attractions, I could have stayed there the whole weekend, however there are very neat places to go nearby. Of course the world famous Dollywood was an adventure. I would Highly suggest the Tuckaleechee Cavers the caves are incredible and the history behind them are fun to know. There are great diners and restaurants around. If you want to stay in to cook at the cabin, the kitchen is completely set up to have your own meals there then relax in the jacuzzi. The Bearclaw oven mitts were the cherry on top!

Ed was an amazing host and his cabin was absolutely amazing!! If you are looking for a cabin in Gatlinburg then definitely book this one as you will not be disappointed. It’s so cozy and perfect for a couple. Close to town but for enough away that you are out of the hustle and bustle. Next time we come back to the area we will definitely be staying here again.
