Booked this for my parents. They had a wonderful stay. They really enjoyed the spacious rooms, high quality breakfast. During their stay they also ate in the main restaurant and rated their steaks highly. Only area of improvement would be to have spa facilities (add thermal facilities).

the stay generally okay, but a few areas could be improved. On arrival there was no valet service, and I was given incorrect information about EV charging. The junior suite was comfortable overall, though the room was quite warm while the bathroom was noticeably cold, and the furnishings felt a little tired rather than well-integrated. Some of the facilities also seemed a bit run down. Palmer’s Kitchen was convenient and the food was decent, but fairly basic (more burger-joint than a destination dining option).

Our stay at Glenlo was fantastic. Service was excellent, breakfast was great, the room was clean, the entire staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgable. The hotel is also just outside of Galway, so you feel like you're in the countryside while still being a short trip to the city center. I would highly recommend Glenlo for anyone looking to book a stay in or around Galway.

It was a chaotic beginning, we arrived in a storm. But still, this is a 5 star property and expensive. We had to wait for our room, and then communication broke down and when our room was ready, no one told us. We were given bad directions (it was in the new lodge area of property) and in the rain and wind, we had to find our way. The lodge rooms are new and not properly outfitted for a 5 star property. No bath mat (bathroom floor slippery and cold), no robes, tea kettle hidden on top shelf of closet, no air circulation. We called for a fan, they said "right away", it never came. There was a wedding at the property so the bar and common areas were full of wedding guests, no place for hotel guests. First day was rough. Second day,

Beautiful grounds and hotel. Lots of staff on site Poor service though. No one could explain and show us how to get to our room. The extra room we had in the lodges wasn’t explained and was locked. Service at meals was long waits for service. Just very odd. Seems that focus on customer and training is the gap as facilities are stunning
