Inside your condo, discover a sunlit great room with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors as well as a well-equipped, island kitchen with counter seating, two tables for mealtimes or rainy day board games, and a central living area with twin sofas and a smart TV. I want to preface saying I have never left a negative review. We extensively travel and have never had an issue like this before. We stay at Diamond Beach 4–5 times a year due to business travel, and the property itself along with the on-site staff is truly incredible. The Diamond Beach team has always been professional, kind, and helpful. We genuinely enjoy staying there.Unfortunately, this particular unit managed by Vacasa had a severe septic gas issue. Beginning on our second day of a 10-day stay, there was a strong sewage odor inside the condo. The smell became so bad that we ultimately had to leave. It was noticeable not only inside the unit, but also in the hallway outside.Diamond Beach staff looked and informed us that this has been an ongoing issue with this unit. It was something about the septic vent to the roof. We contacted Vacasa immediately and were told they would assist and follow up. I followed up 12 times via phone and message over the course of our stay. Each time, I was told someone would get back to us. The issue was never resolved, and we were left without support.I have never left a negative review before, and I do not take this lightly. Diamond Beach remains a property we value and will continue to visit. We will not stay in a unit managed by Vacasa again. Vacasa’s lack of response to a serious health and habitability issue was extremely disappointing.

Our Favorite Condo at Diamond Beach

This condo is absolutely beautiful. 4 bedrooms and 4 baths was perfect for our family. The beds were all comfortable and the bedrooms all had tv's. The living room and dining room was spacious and we loved the recliners in the living room. The separate room behind the livingroom gives extra space for kiddos to play on their games. The balcony was great and we had a beautiful view. We love Diamond beach and love the lazy river, pool, and easy access to the beach. We love always enjoy the use of the gym and we love reserving the movie theater! The game room is fun for the younger kids- my only complaint is that the gameroom needs some upgrade and TLC for the games on the 4th floor but the games out by the pool are fine. It really is a great place to stay!

Diamond Beach has Everything for Family Fun

The condo that we stayed in had everything you could possibly need especially the kitchen. Great condo. The owners thought of everything! for a comfortable stay! My only complaint is with Diamond Beach Resort. We stayed there for one week and the fitness room had NO air conditioning! I call a number of times to ask about the air and was told every time someone was working on it. Amazing fitness room but much too hot with no air conditioning! We will return next year even with the negitive experience with the fitness room. Great palce!

Family friendly!

My family really enjoyed all the swimming options. The lazy river is really long, the water temperature was pleasant and they had tubes available. Vacasa brought more beach towels quickly when we didn't have enough. It was nice to have the indoor pool for night swimming. Beach access is close. We used the available grills and found most kitchen items we needed. There were a few plastic cups to take down to the pool area but there were no plastic plates so plan accordingly if you want to eat by the pool. The beds were comfortable and plenty of seating options. Highly recommend Seahorse Grill and Seawall Coffee across the street.

The unit was beautifully decorated and had an awesome view. Upon arrival our unit was very dirty. Look like whoever cleaned it was in a rush. Appliances and cabinets have food all over them. Glass table had smears on it. Mirrors had handprints, that look like from a child. Easter grass and Sprinkles all over the floors and back porch had chocolate frosting on the table and sprinkles. Ants were all over the back porches, because it had not been cleaned up. Found Easter grass in a couple of the beds and worst of all, one of the beds had crushed Cheez-Its, long black hairs, and sprinkles in the bed. Look like they had just made the beds but did not change the sheets. Very disgusting and very disappointing. We called management they sent somebody out. The girl took a few pictures wipe down the kitchen and the dining room table, then left. We had to wash our own sheets that first night. It was A beautiful Propert , but would not stay there again.

The description of location is exact, very nice place. 2nd bathroom shower head needed to be fixed, water was spraying out the top. Kitchen was not equipped with coffee or any seasons, sugar, salt or pepper. Very nice space and clean.

Beautiful property

The unit we rented was really lovely, but the amenities for which we had to pay (resort fee) seemed exorbitant since none of them were available save the gym. The fireplace did not work and the telephone number given to help problem solve was no help. Texted back and forth for 1 1/2 days, and left without getting it to work. The thermostats were a bit different and no instructions were given for them, the television, or the fireplace. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time together.

Peaceful Stay

We visited with my husband, kids 6 and 8, and my parents. The unit is massive and tasteful furnished. So many things to do on site including an indoor pool (outdoor was too cold), arcade with free games, and a movie theater you could reserve. I would have been happy just staying in the condo and sipping wine on the patio though. It had a gorgeous view and is on the top floor.
