Host was great. Got back straight away with any questions. The apartment seemed a little tired. Scuffs everywhere. Lounge couch uncomfortable to sit on. Too much stuff cluttering the place. Main wardrobe full of stuff second wardrobe closed for owners use So clothes hanging on rail in bedroom. Balcony cluttered but great view of the sea. Beds very comfortable.

Condo was well equipped and very comfortable! Our host Kim was always there to answer questions and very helpful. Would definitely stay with Kim again!! We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the waves and listening to the ocean. Very relaxing!!

Great condo! Perfect family getaway!

We loved our stay. Clean condo with a great location and balcony facing the ocean. It was the perfect size for us. We had four adults and two small kids who loved the trundle beds off the master bedroom. The pools were great and not too crowded. Would definitely stay there again.

Pretty Place & So Convenient to the Beach

We enjoyed our stay & the place was decorated so nice and it was very clean. Conveniently located across the street from the beach on Seawall Boulevard.Kim was readily available to answer any of my questions. She was a great hostess. Also beach chairs and toys as well as towels were provided so that was a real blessing. We would love to stay there again sometime.

We had an excellent stay with our 5 year old and 2 year old. This condo has everything you need for a beach vacation. Quick walk across the street to the beach. Toys for the kids, beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards.

Great Place

Cute, clean place with everything you need for a fun beach stay with kids. There was a beach cart, beach chairs, beach towels & blankets, sand toys, a cooler and even pool floats. The condo was stocked with necessities and more. The host was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. Location was great for beach access, grocery shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Galveston.

This is a great Location with easy access to everything! This place had everything we needed and slept 6 adults comfortably. The owner provided all the information up front, which was great. We couldn't have done better!

Best VRBO stay ever!

We cannot begin to explain how wonderful our stay was. This condo was beautiful, spacious, well stocked and very nice furniture. It is extremely well cared for and maintained. And the location/view - Incredible!! So many things are within walking distance. This is the perfect retreat for families or 2 couples. The host was very accommodating, responsive and a pleasure to work with. We do not have one single complaint. Only compliments and the WOW factor. We cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Great for families

We had such a wonderful long weekend at "the blue house" as my son is still calling it. The property was ready for us with music playing and smelling amazing when we walked in. They had all the baby stuff set up for us so we didnt have to do extra to get settled in. It rained our whole stay but the house was so fun it was fine. We loved being further from everything but still accessible. We will definitely be staying there again. settled in.

Great Place!

The condo was just like the pictures. Beautiful! The grounds were well maintained. Beautiful view of the ocean. The condo is well stocked with everything you would need, either for cooking or for the beach. Kim was in touch to make sure everything was going well which was appreciated.

Wonderful hosts, great value & location

My husband, 3 year old son and I spent a great Memorial Day weekend at this condo. These hosts are my incredible. They have truly thought of everything. Their instructions, suggestions and policies are very helpful and straight-forward. They even got a brand new booster seat for our son ahead of our arrival—so thoughtful! The location of both The Dawn condo and this unit are superb for beach access. Even with our toddler we were able to get from the condo to sitting in beach chairs in less than 10 mins. Things to be aware of, but that did not detract greatly from our experience: -There is no elevator in this building (or most of Galveston) so you need to lug your beach gear up a flight of stairs from the beach to the seawall, and then another flight to the condo on the 2nd floor. -I wouldn’t really call The Dawn a luxury condo. The front desk worker was actively playing a video game on his work computer at check in. Both pools were very cloudy and dirty with bugs and debris both days. The outdoor shower at the smaller pool wasn’t working (we let the front desk know). The buildings need a new coat of paint and general upkeep. -The condo itself is clean, huge and the art on the walls is beautifully done. But this is definitely still a rental property. The cookware is scratched and stained. The dining chairs have cheap slippery covers that constantly came off. Bed frames scuffed. The nightstand and lamps in the 2nd bedroom didn’t match. None of these were deal breakers.

Great condo!

We were here for a girls trip and had the best time - location was perfect, great view of the beach, kitchen was well stocked. Whole condo was clean and well maintained. We didn't hear any neighbors at all. Host was super fast to respond and easy to get ahold of. Was convenient to not have to pack beach towels, chairs. Would definitely stay again! Only downside was that the pools were really cold.

Seaside golf adventure

Very nice condo at the Dawn complex. Kim and her husband were very gracious hosts and everything that we needed for our stay was provided all the way down to the pool noodles. We unfortunately were not able to enjoy the pool as we were visiting for a golf tournament at Moody Gardens. Next time we come to Galveston if this condo is available we willl definitely book it again!

Amazing host!

We had the best stay. The location is perfect with a stunning view of the ocean! The condo is stocked with everything you need. There were toys and books that my daughter loved. The property itself was wonderful, the grounds were well kept and felt safe. There were security cameras onsite and staff patrolling the property during the evening. The host was incredible. I had an issue with VRBO and she reached out, kept in touch with me and checked in throughout the stay to make sure we had what we needed. Hands down best stay with the best host!
