The hotel is very old fasion. The food in both breakfast and dinner was very dissapointing - not wjat would you expect from a 5 stars hotel. The air conditionin the room was noisy. Check-oit took a lot of time. The staff in the reception was not so kind.

Enjoyed our stay (2-weeks) in this great hotel, friendly team, very helpful. Weather was very warm at 23 celsius in November, often a bit windy in the afternoon. Great food, especially in the restaurants. If you need food for your soul, the church service in the English Church in Funchal is inspiring.
