Finn and Tonic is a great place to stay. Everything is always clean and neat with the most comfortable beds anywhere. The crows nest is a really cool extra.

We had a wonderful time at Finn and Tonic. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It was such a short walk to the ocean. Plenty of room for the 5 people and our 2 dogs. The best part was the crows nest. We went up every night to watch the stars. I couldn’t ask for a better vacation.

Great Location

Great location - just a very short walk to the beach. The house has a great location to the beach. The inside decor is older but the pictures online are up to date and accurate. Washer and dryer worked well. This house was all we needed for a beach getaway- we stay at the beach all day. Property owner is responsive.

Great experience at Finn and Tonic. House worked out perfect for our family of three. House was exactly as shown in the photos and was very clean upon arrival. Very nice location for fishing as ramps 48/49 are right up the road. Would absolutely book again.

Great Central Location!!

Our stay at the Fin & Tonic was terrific! The central location was very convenient with stores, ferries and fishing spots close by. The house was still in the process of being updated but was still comfortable, clean and the beds slept great. Stewart, the host/owner was also very complimentary and responded to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place

We’ve stayed at many places on Hatteras Island and this is definitely one of our favorites. Everything was so easy thanks to Stewart the owner who is so easy to talk to and is helpful at every turn. The house is incredible, roomy and laid out perfectly. The crows nest is a great touch! I hope we get to stay here again sometime.

Close to the beach enjoyable with pets

The place was really close by the beach. This is the second time I have been there with my significant other and our two pets. The area is so nice and secluded and this place was comfortable to be in. There were a few areas that were dirty ( a used floss on the nightstand, hair on the bed sheets and fridge and certain areas on the carpet) but other than that everything during the stay went really well. There isn’t a blender when we were there so we couldn’t make smoothies lol but it was okay! We truly enjoyed our stay there and was really happy with our days there at the beach. It’s a great away to get away from daily routines.

Perfect for Us

To begin with Stewart is a gem. He's so responsive and detailed. This place is super cute and was perfect for our group of friends (5 of us). There was so much in the kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, cleaning and paper supplies) it was amazing. We've stayed in other properties and some places have next to nothing. The living area had enough room for us all to claim our own spaces. It was close to the beach which was a must for us. The crows nest was so great to sit in. We had the view of the Sound and Ocean. Just like home

This is the third time I’ve stayed at Fin and Tonic in Frisco and I’m sure it won’t be the last. It’s a comfortable place with all the amenities one would expect in a home and it’s in a very convenient location. I like the new bathroom floors too!

Cutest Little Beach House!

Everything but the food was on site! The walk to the beach was 3 min! And the view from the crows nest was amazing!!! We had a blast! What more is there to say?

Making Sunshine Memories

We all enjoyed our stay. We felt like we were at home. Great location with a very short walk and small dune to the beach. Sound side day use area right up the street, great fishing, use 🐙. The owner is very responsive and great to work with.

Love fin and tonic house

The location could not be better. Loved the layout of the house, all amenities necessary were available. Will plan my next vacation stay here again. Stewart was on top of everything way before we arrived. Thank you 4 an amazing place, and memories that will last a lifetime!

Great location , Great Price

Upon arrival we were a little disappointed in a few things but 95% of our experience was good. What were those things? Like mini blinds were broken. Tiles (6+) were missing right in the middle of the bathroom floor. We just put a towel over them. But we made sure our granddaughter didn’t use that bathroom. The dishwasher is tiny which is fine. But the dishes were thick so not many could fit. As long as you understand this is not an updated granite type place, you’ll be just fine. Did I mention the price? We figured out this place was about 50% less than an oceanfront home 1 minute closer to the beach. Literally.! We Will for sure return if available.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

The house is in a great location to just relax and unwind. The view from the crows nest is awesome! This place is conveniently located in between towns where there’s a ton of stuff to do and see. It was a great vacation and I am looking forward to returning in the future!

Good location.

Great location. Close to and easy access to the beach. Close to ferry. The house was very comfortable with everything you would need. The place was not dirty but given the fact that you are required as guests to make your own beds on arrival, vacuum before departure, and start the laundry before you leave, I would expect housekeeping to make sure the home is spotless. I would not expect to find previous guests dirty socks under the bed as we did and dirty glasses and pans in the cabinet. I clean rental houses on the side for extra money and those kind of things are unacceptable in my book. But, otherwise we loved the place and had a great time and the owner was awesome and got right back to us with any questions we had. We would stay again.
