Is the affordability worth it?

Pros: There was hot water and the staff was so wonderful, friendly and helpful. After hours check in and key drop available. Cons: Mold in the bathroom, bed was very uncomfortable, the shower head sort of worked, not a quiet area (steps from the tram/street car that runs all hours of the night). As of 9/5 there is active construction going on in the area, so maybe call to find out if they have finished.

Perfect location within walking distance to all the sights. Warm welcome with friendly staff who kindly let us check in early. The room was basic but had everything we needed.

Old, dirty carpet and appliances. Bathroom is small, and the door opens inside so you have to hug the toilet to enter and close the door. No breakfast as advertised was available. The sign says the front desk is open until 10 pm and I arrived at 9 pm to a closed desk. They said they messaged me the pin for my keys but they did not and I had to call them. This is a 2 star hotel from the 1990s.

The price was good and location was good. Outdated. Room had a smell I think came from the old carpet. Bed not that comfortable. Good for a few nights maximum.

Nice Hotel, great location, the rooms are clean but furniture is a bit older (but not bad), staff is really friendly. If you want to stay near Sachsenhausen, it’s the perfect place.

The hotel staff was very kind and the location was amazing. We walked all of Sachssenhausen and then a short walk over a bridge to old town. We never used our car. There is a parking garage around the corner that is a little cheaper than hotel parking. This location is everything we wanted. The room is like a hostel, no air conditioning, and double beds, few amenities, but we enjoyed our time there very much

solo female travler in town for one night.. this place is perfect for what you pay.. staff was extremely kind, great location next to many bars / restaurants. Short 10-15min walk to Römer square. Room was clean, felt safe! Would stay here again. Did not have breakfast but the eating area looked nice. Danke!!!

Great hotel!!

Great location and average room for the price. The staff was super friendly specially the guy at reception who always help us with a big smile on his face! The guy doing the rooms also was super friendly. The location it’s absolutely amazing with very nice bars around the hotel and great take away places. It’s like 10 min walking from the city centre. If you’re on a budget holiday this is the best option (don’t expect a 5* hotel for the price ). Thanks for everything.

Great Location!

Great location! Very close to bars and restaurants. Grocery store about a block away and very close to downtown Frankfurt. It’s an older building but comfy. Windows open for air circulation. Access to elevator. WiFi was great. Because it is located near popular bars it can be loud. Loved our stay.

Very nice stay

Great location across the river in Sachsenhausen; wonderful staff. Quiet, clean room had private bath. No air conditioning or fan was hard on 33 degree days.

The location is very good if you want to be near an area of bars and restaurants on an old part part of Frankfurt. You can visit the city by walking which is great. The hotel is not modern, but it is well maintained. The carpet may show signs of use. Everything is very clean, except the details on the floor. If you practice Yoga and lie on the floor, you realize this. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a good experience. If you want a inexpensive place to stay fo for it.

An ok hotel in Sauchsenhausen

Our flight arrived early-we were unable to check in early. The TV didn’t work. No one pre-ordered breakfast-so there was none. Communication was difficult-they spoke very little English. The location was good for Sauchsenhausen. It’s near a lot of restaurants and bars.
