Good place; it's clean, the beds are comfortable, the room I got was very bright and had a ensuite shower and bathroom, which I must note are separated, which is great because hat means that if someone is taking a super long shower or a giant dump, you don't have to wait for them to get out. The bad: kind of a boring atmosphere, breakfast I assume is super early because I didn't see it being served Bonus: receptionist didn't charge me the ridiculous linen fee of 5.5 euros and the foosball/kicker is FREE which is something I have only seen here on this continent. Usually it's 1€ which adds up quickly.

I arrive to this hostel to find people sitting in the lobby just like a hotel, no one talking to the other. Not a hostel you would expect, but the rooms are great with one bathroom serving about 7 people.

The staff was very nice, and the location was good only one sidewalk to the Galluswarte train station. The only thing I can say about this is that our room was very small and not much space to put down your things especially when we were 2 and both had large suitcases. But everything else was nice at least for the prize.

Good Hostel. For the location it has, near the Messe, and the public trams right outside the door, the price is very good. Good breakfast choice, for what a Hostel is concerned. Friendly staff. Good bedrooms, but the bed could be better. Clean and with an affordable expresso (which is hard to find at Frankfurt!).

It's nice, cozy, and quiet, but it lacks that hostel vibe that we all know and love, you feel more like a hotel than a hostel (and a cheap hotel). If you look to just come over and sleep, with no extra activities, and hopefully before 21:00, then this is your place

After a long and exhausting night , we couldn't find a better place to rest except this Hotel, we even booked another night eventhough it was not in the plan, The room is very clean and Cosy, Lobby is great, food is delicious , staff are not bad " good enough to handle the crowd on new year's eve :D " Conc. : we were satisfied with this Hotel and would be the first to cross our minds on the next visit to Frankfurt.

First of all, my wife and I have never stayed in a hotel/hostel before this trip. Some background may be needed. in 2012, we were returning from a visit in Berlin in preparation of returning home from the Frankfurt Airport. We had spent 7 days in Berlin and Pots Dam. In Berlin, we had looked for an authentic German restaurant and had found none near our hotel; just Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, etc.; nothing truly German. We arrive in Frankfurt AM and asked for a German restaurant and we were directed to the Luftikuse at the Galluswarte, which impressed us so much that we want to stay near this restaurant when ever we stay in Frankfurt AM. All that said, The A&O Frankfurt Galluswarte was only a few 10s of meters from the desired restaurant, so we decided to try it out. We stayed two night on our arrival and were pleasantly surprised by the clean room and the generous breakfast. The room was small and the shower tiny but the bed was comfortable and the WIFI fast. It was more that sufficient for us, since we only sleep and wash there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff is also multi lingual. On our return to Frankfurt AM before flying out, we again stayed at the A&O. This time we got a larger room which was very nice. It had the same beds and shower, but separate bath and toilet with sinks in each and a desk in the bed room. On our last night someone in the room next to our invited some guest in. They were loud and the smoked. This is a none smoking hotel and when it became unbearable, I went to the office (no telephone in the room) and reported the incident. The reaction of management was swift and efficient. The people next door were addressed, the loud conversation stopped, the smoking stopped, and the air in my room cleared out, after I opened the window to let in cleaner air even though it was about 0 degrees Celsius outside. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel/hostel to anyone who does not absolutely require 5 star accommodations.

We went here for a convention. Many others in the hotel/hostel combination were there for the same reason. Although full, the hotel was never too noisy of busy for us. The main refreshments area next to the open foyer featured ice-cold beers, cocktails and minimal food options. Visit the surrounding Galluswarte area for some decent restaurants. Rooms were tidy and kept that way, twin beds felt decently comfortable.

Rude reception which made me wait long. Room conditions were terrible, rooms were smelly and they were not changing them. Room price was reasonable but there were hidden charges. They were charging almost the same as room charge for BED SHEETS. Not recommended

The room was very clean, and had everything you need. The location was perfect it had tram and subway right next to it. And it was quite close to the Frankfurt messe. We were there for Imex 2016. Totally recommend it , the price was perfect, and it has hotels all around Germany and Austria.
