Nice welcome by name, clean room and very good located; near the center. The breakfast was nice and complete. The bar area a bit small (restaurant side closed with a cord) and not very flexible staff towards us (small group). Strange parking lot which could have been explained a bit more (not working car elevators).

The hotel is down by the river, it is comfortable and has friendly staff. Our room overlooked the town and river, great views, comfortable room. I just wish the windows opened wider to allow air in on a hot day/night, as we're not fans of air conditioning. It doesn't have a restaurant, but just across the road is a very good one. The hotel is close to the Alte Brücke, the main footbridge into town, a photographic must and an opportunity to watch the lock working. We wandered around the pretty town and took in the Marienburg fortress too.

My husband and I spent one night at the Mercure Hotel after visiting with his family near Schweinfurt. We were on our way to Frankfurt the next day to spend the night before flying home. We really enjoy Wuerzburg and this hotel is in a very convenient location to go the the historic section of the city. We were able to easily walk to the old bridge over the Main that evening for dinner and hike up the hill to the Marienburg Festung the next morning after breakfast. We had a standard double on the street level. In spite of that it was quiet and the only issue was that we definitely had to close the heavy drape in order to have privacy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We had scrambled eggs which was a switch from the usual during this stay. The coffee was good. All in all, I would stay there again as I hope to visit Wuerzburg again as it is one of my favorite German cities.

This would have got a very good review if it wasn't for the size of the room. The staff were nice, the hotel was clean, the parking was good but the room was nowhere near the size I've come to expect from Mercure. It was OK but that's all.

Chose it for one night only for a stay and then to see the Wurzburg Residence in the morning. Room was okay, breakfast too, parking on site, bar worked until sufficiently late. Overall a decent mid-range hotel.

Good location and nice personnel. Very good breakfast quality and choice. Room service adn cleaning very efficient. Good sleeping. No noyse. Accor Hotel program giving nice extra and possibilities. Possible to apply also for a program on saving three Good fast Check-in adn Check-out

We stayed at the Mercure in June, 2017, over nighting in the middle of a music tour. Overall we gave it a 4. Would have been a 4+ but for the slippery shower Location - not right in the centre of town but a 5 minute walk to the Alte Mainbrucke bridge. The building ... Halls / public spaces --- were clean and modern The room ... #224 Size --- big Bathroom --- CAUTION very slippery floor in the shower. It is semi open, leads to some splashing if you are not careful or if you are unfamiliar with the high tech dual shower control. The bed --- Sleep Quality Bed was good. King. Noise --- Very noisy on the front of the building, lots of street noise even up on the second floor (North American third storey) Cleanliness very clean Amenities ... Internet --- worked well, avoid the Telekom router (says "suggested") which is full of ads Coffee maker - no, only a kettle Fridge --- no TV --- big flat screen TV, we did not watch a lot but seemed to be dozens of channels in German, English and French. Breakfast - buffet, not as large and varied as some we have seen but absolutely adequate for a good meal. No decaf' coffee was apparent and none was offered. Dinner in on site restaurant the restaurant is not open for dinner. Special diet - wasn't made apparent that there were gluten - free or dairy - free options. Tips to get a good room: avoid the front of the building (noisy street)

The Wurzburg mercure hotel was a good place for our weekend city trip. The location near the historic city is perfect for walking. Our room was clean and comfortable. Quietly located at the rear side. The bathroom is rather small and has no separate shower. Breakfast is good.

OK for a night or two but not for longer periods. Functional rooms, not luxurious but it does not advertise itself as a luxury hotel. It suited our purpose just fine. A travelers hotel for short stays.

Lady working check in very rude and mean! Asked for help in English. She responded very ugly and rude right in front of my wife and children. I asked the other person working the desk to please report her for us and that her behavior was intolerable.
