Great beach house stay/all you need

Loved that the place had all essentials for water fun (beach chairs, umbrella/toys/buckets/boogie boards) as well as kitchen supplies. Love how you can just walk straight out to the beach easily.

The cabana is a quaint place to stay. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed due to the cleanliness of the place, however the bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and linens were very clean. The living room space needed a better look at by the cleaning crew as there was dust build up and webs on the walls and ceiling in that space. This was reported to the property management and they immediately responded. Overall, this is a great place to stay, the beach is steps away and it was easy access to come and go. I’d definitely stay there again.

I’m so glad we found this hidden place. It was nice, clean and quiet. The beach was within feet away. So it wasn’t bad hauling all of our beach supplies. I would recommend this place to anybody. We will be back next summer!

We had an amazing stay at this cute little bungalow cabana. We hope to stay again in the future. Perfect beach access & pool access. Perfect for a couple or small family. We are a family of 3. It was just awesome.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends

This location could not have been more perfect for our group- literally just a few steps before our feet were in the sand! The Beach Pizza stand next door offered a wonderful meal and we happily cooked simple meals for the rest of the stay. Communication was great and we enjoyed our time together immensely. We will certainly be back!!!

Sister’s Trip

I have stayed in the Bayou Dwellers Cabana Colony before. I love the location. It is close to all my favorite places. I can park and be steps away from the room and the beautiful beach. I always wish I could stay longer!! I appreciated the items there that could be used if our grandchildren would have been with us and the items for use in the kitchen.

Beach Front Gem

I reserved 4 nights for my 2 grandchildren and me to spend time together and to enjoy the beach. The cabana, while small, had everything we wanted and needed to make our stay comfortable and fun. For our use, the host provided coolers, chairs, water toys, and beach towels...amazing! We also loved the use of the pool next door and the pizza at the pool bar was yummy. I would return to the cabana on Okaloosa Island again and again!

Barefoot paradise

This place was just the right size for me and my teenage son. It was so nice to walk right out the door onto the beach! I didn’t even bother putting on sandals. The Murphy bed was a great solution for the small space. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Will stay again!
