Perfect location! Walking distance to the beach & broadwalk! Condo was in good condition except for the couch and chair. They are in desperate need of a cleaning! We used the extra sheets to cover them.

Looks clean but isn’t

When you first walk in the property looked clean. However once you actually started looking the bunk room beds were so gross. The cracks were filled with sand, dirt and who knows what else. We did clean as soon as we got to the property but I would say our vacation took a turn when we returned from a beach day to shower and found a cockroach in the bathroom. We immediately contacted Vacasa got the voicemail and had to try 3 more times to get a person. The first response we received was we could buy bug spray and they would reimburse us. I told them in no way were we staying in a condo with cockroaches so they placed me on hold for 5 min and came back that they would put in a relocation request to another resort. From the initial phone call to getting our new condo info it was 2 1/2 -3 hours. Needless to say having to repack everything and deal with washing clothes for a family of 5 after seeing a cockroach isn’t how I wanted to spend my time on vacation. We will not return to Destin West resort ever.

Great Location! Great View! Great Amenities!

Perfect view and location! Had great amenities and very well stocked. Enjoyed every moment onsite. Only disliked how much Vacasa blew up my phone with constant repeating text and emails and with an early required checkout of 10 am, cleaners were there early wanting to get in.
