Hotel Indigo Fort Myers Downtown River District

After busy day of appointments it's nice to park the car and walk downtown Ft. Myers. Good restaurants and Art galleries along with river views. Always my 1st choice to stay when I visit the area.

We had to valet because we didn't know the area, it was $18 and when we got the car the next day it was covered in something like vomit, the front desk manager refused to give us our money back and all she could do was give us a bucket of water and two rags for us to clean the car ourselves. Jessica refused to give me a card to contact the GM, she finally agreed to give me her name; I've called the hotel several times to report this woman and her attitude towards guests, I got the name of an assistant GM and when I called again to try and speak to them, Jessica answered the phone, she realized it was me, and she told me she was the assistant, she's not only not willing to help but she is always a liar. It's a shame because we loved the area and the hotel but we won't be coming back at all.

Great location in downtown Fort Myers. Walking distance to cute shops and restaurants. Short drive to the Edison Museum.

The hotel lobby was charming and cute, old fashioned. We were surprised to find the lobby staff dressed in yoga pants and sweatshirts. No need for a full tux or evening gown, but our expectations immediately plummeted. The room was clean, though, and nicely laid out. Location was GREAT, walking distance to the little downtown area with several food options and bars. We were disappointed that that pool closed pretty early and for some reason we had the impression that the upper patio had more nightlife than it did, but you could get a drink and hang out in the small deck. We had a laugh at the Phitness Center...no joke...it was spelled that way. Our experience was overall pleasant and while it might not be the place you rave about it was a nice stay.

I traveled for business and loved being the the heart of Fort Myers

We stayed at this hotel for one night and it was nice. The rooftop pool was small and didn't get good sunlight. The hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms were clean. They were not flexible on check-in times, but were happy to store our bags for us so that we could walk around without the extra weight. As far as the river district in Ft. Meyers - it's not too exciting. If you are flexible in where to stay, head out to the islands/beaches. Ft. Meyers itself is a bore.

It was not a new or renovated hotel like other hotel indigos I have been to. It was fine, but not what I was expecting.

Location couldn't be any better for downtown. Rooftop bar was very nice. Beautiful view. Beds were very comfortable. Room clean.

This hotel was so nice and conveinant for a night out. The bartender at the bar on the roof made the best drinks. The night life in the area was awesome.

positive overall, good service and quality rooms. liked the location, being within 2 min walking distance to many local restaurants and shops

The Indigo is lovely hotel, situated right in downtown, near restaurants, bars and the waterfront. Staff was pleasant, the upstairs bar was nice. Only thing lacking was a refrigerator in the rooms.Rooms were very clean, and the re-done bathrooms were top notch.

Great experience, friendly staff. Close to everything

Rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for downtown shopping and dining.

We had a great time. Many good shops, restaurants, and close museums and aquarium. The hotel was very, very nice and comfortable. Room was not only comfortable but quiet. While there were other guests there, noise from other rooms could not be heard. Loved the rooftop pool and separate patio. Only problem was the parking. Too expensive and free parking was a pain.

We had a lovely quiet evening. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar.

The hotel is located downtown, so walking to local shops can easily be accomplished. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff very friendly and the room was adequately sized. My only complaint about the room was that the shower was open - meaning there was no shower curtain or way to close off the shower from the rest of the bathroom. It takes a while for the bathroom to warm up and I thought it was odd that the bathroom's shower was set up this way. We went to several flea markets and antique shops where they had wonderful selections of fruit and vegetables and a variety of things which made browsing fun.

This hotel is located in the downtown district very near nice remonstrants and shopping areas. It has a beautiful "rooftop" bar/restaurant and also has on the property a fine Italian Ding as well as Ibichan Japanese Restaurant. Clean rooms and very gracious staff.,

This boutique hotel suited us quite well. King-sized bed with lots of pillows was great for sleeping. The bathroom had a shower, no bath. So, depending on how much you need a bathtub. Ate at one of the two restaurants located within the hotel - Vine de Notte - very nice. The other restaurant was Japanese/Chinese and was usually busy. Plan on budgeting funds for valet parking since street parking is limited. It was a very lovely and easy facility to stay at. Easily convenient to highway arteries.

Or stay at the Hotel Indigo was for the purpose of seeing the Jeff Dunham show at the Germain Arena. We were pleasantly surprised that the stay at the hotel was as much fun as the show. It was unique in it's style and very comfortable. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. My only complaint would be that staying in the downtown location, it was a little noisy during the late evening.

Wish I had stayed longer, the location of the hotel was perfect and in a very quaint area with everything you need close by.
