Whilst the property has lots of space for a group and the host was quick to respond to answer any queries we had, unfortunately the property is looking very tired and is in need of a deep clean. We were very disappointed to open the front door to find that the carpets in the living room and stairs were heavily stained, the oven was dirty, the woodwork paint was heavily chipped and the windows and doors were in need of a deep clean. Such a shame as the property has such potential. I reached out to the property manager to let them know of our experiences and supplied photos but am awaiting a response.

Spacious house with great garden
The house was spacious and well appointed. 10 of us weren't falling over each other. Bedrooms large and dining room had chairs for everyone. We all especially liked the garden and patio, plenty of room for games, and the hot tub topped it off. Coupled with good weather and ability to get to Fife and Perthshire, we would highly recommend this property.

We had a great time with plenty of space for the family and the lication was great for exploring the area and getting in to Dundee. It was reasonably priced for the number of beds and the hot hub was an added bonus and the garden was lovely. The facilites were fine, the washing machine and tumble dryer were good as with the heating. But we did feel it lacked a variety and quality of kitchen utensils, pans etc for cooking large family meals which should just be standard for a house of this size. It only had one shower downstairs and the main bathroom with only a bath, so that wasn't great for getting everyone ready in the mornings. The property manager was responsive with the broken washing line but we didnt want to ask for simple things like potato peelers, knives that cut and a frying pan so we muddled with what was available.

Lovely spacious home
Property was as described, spacious and perfect for the nine of us that stayed there. October so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the garden but the hot tub was ready for us on arrival and there were games and books to use as well. Easy check in with details sent to us by the host on the morning of check in. I had a couple of queries ahead of our visit and had prompt responses and he checked that we had everything We needed during our stay. Would definitely return should we have a larger group travelling together again.Locally we went to The Stag pub and Chapter and Verse for dinner and can recommend both.Lots of bakeries and butchers to get your Scottish treats to take home!

Forfar
Beautiful house with great space and large garden. Dogs loved it. Hot tub was well used. Not as clean as expected and had to clean areas. Contacted host who brought us some wine and apologised. Usual cleaner was on holiday. Suggested bed in back room has mattress replaced son and partner had little sleep as springs felt and very uncomfortable. Such a shame as 5 stars would have been given. We still had a,great time.
