Fedriades is a nice hotel with great views. Good value for money overall. It was quiet but I think Delphi is generally quiet unlike nearby Arahova. Not particularly impressed with the breakfast but it is the kind you'll see a lot in hotels of that category.
How to go? It is about 3 hours car ride from Athens. Room: I stayed their in the Junior Suite which is the highest floor. At this level, you get a nice view over looking the hill and valley. This room is pretty interesting such that you will be given a key to operate the lift that will go straight to your room. The room is pretty spacious with sofa and queen size bed. The bed is good that is nice and comfy. The pillows are still not too bad. Complementary bottle waters are there. The free wifi in the room is ok. Bathroom: The bathroom is pretty spacious and a bathtub overlooking outside to the valley. However, the electric blind to the window has some issue and could not come down. But since it is on a higher level, it might be away from prying eyes. Another down side is that they might expect you to show while sitting in the tub. Cos it has no shower curtain and the shower head holder is pretty low. Bathing kits and amenities are pretty standard. Towels are ok. Services: As it is a boutique hotel, you need to managed your own baggage. Check in and out is pretty fast. The staffs are pretty friendly especially the guy over at the breakfast area. Amenities + breakfast The lift is very tiny but speed is ok. The breakfast is more on bread and Greek. Hotel: The location of the hotel is rather good. Many good eateries and cafes within less than 5 mins walking. Many souvenir shops within walking distance as well. The ruins and museum are about 15mins walk away. But if you drive, 1 min will reach. The hotel has also a very cozy lobby with fireplaces! Parking is street parking and you might have difficult finding one near to the hotel. I cannot imagine the madness in Summer. Verdict: The hotel is pretty cozy and location is pretty good. The staffs are quite friendly and approachable. Main downside is parking which is a common issue in Delphi.
Room was large (especially for Europe), although it had an extra bed in it, which didn't reserve. However, the balcony overlooked the valley and the ocean and the view both at sunset and evening was great. Beautiful to sit out there and enjoy a glass of wine. Parking, although very limited in the area, was provided by the hotel and they let us keep the car there until we were done touring Delphi. It is about a 10 minute walk to the historical site, so definitely not worth moving the car. The front desk recommended great dining options and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was included and was good.
The Fedriades Delphi hotel is a great place to stay on your visit to the Oracle. The location is great, the views (if you choose a room with one) are spectacular. Being a small boutique hotel, don’t expect a lot of room. The rooms are small but very comfortable. All the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was a nice touch to start our day. If your planning on making a trip to Delphi, definitely stay at the Fedriades Delphi Hotel.
We had 2 rooms for myself, spouse, 1 year old daughter and in-laws. The rooms are typical of Europe, a bit small but it was comfortable. We had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were wonderful! Our daughter had a difficult time with jet-lag and so for the 2 nights we were there, I would take our daughter down to the lobby when she woke up (usually around 1am) and myself and the staff would play with her. The only reason I'm not giving this hotel a 5 rating is because the walls are pretty thin and therefore it was a bit loud and easy to hear the guests in the rooms next to us. We did enjoy our stay though!
The hotel has a very good location in the town centre. Some rooms have view to the valey below: I would recommend those. Simple decoration but it is a good value for money. Public parking in front of the hotel
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of town and within walking distance to restaurants, the museum and the archeological site. The room was a bit small and the furnishings are tired looking but it was clean and functional. The whole place reminds one of the old ski hotels in the Italian alps. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent but offers the standard fare of eggs, ham, cheese and some Greek pastries. The hotel does not have its own parking facilities but in November I had no problem in parking for free on the street. This may be different in high season though. WiFi was available in the room but was pretty slow. Try to get a room facing the street. There was little traffic when I was there and the rooms have a balcony that has distant coastal views. Overall an okay choice for one night.
We spent one night here. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Hotel has nice "feel" about it. Room was clean, updated w/comfy bed, safe and...AMAZING view of Gulf of Cornith. Breakfast was fine. 20 minute walk to archaeological site. Enjoyed our stay here and can confidently recommend this hotel. You'll be comfortable and not break the bank!!
The hotel's personnel was very kind and informative; the room was spacious, very clean, with comfortable bed and marvelous view! The breakfast was also great. The archaeological museum and monuments are very close, 5 min on foot. I highly recommend it!
Very nice view. Very clean room. Friendly reception. Nice breakfast. Very good service in all info for the area. Into the city and everything around. The ancient places also near and I wish to visit it again.
