From the moment we arrived at the hotel Monica made sure we had everything available for us. She even had bus tickets for sale which made it very convenient for catching the bus into the city just a block or two away. The rooms were very clean, quiet and dark for sleeping. The TV worked well and had many channels. The bathrooms were clean, nice hot water with a comfortable size shower. The breakfast room was quaint and the food selection was very good.

We had a lovely stay at Rosary Gardens recently. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. Our room was clean and the buffet breakfast was great, with lots of variety. The hotel is quite a distance from the centre of town, but taking the bus worked really well, took less than 10 minutes. (The hotel will sell you bus tickets.) It is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and does not have the bustle and noise of the city. We found the best gelato (and most reasonable) in a little place right next door.

The staff were very cordial and quickly attended to our needs. Bus to city center is very near to the hotel location.

Stayed three nights in Florence. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. The standard double room was small, but beautiful, clean, and pleasant to come home to after a day of sightseeing. We used the local buses to get around, even as late as 11:30 pm, and felt it was easy and safe. We ate twice at the restaurant next door, and also the gelataria around the corner. Both were wonderful.

This cozy hotel is more like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are large and well decorated. Breakfast in basement level is excellent. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Housekeeping was great. A special thank you to Monica for taking time to acquaint us to bus routes into the city. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood a few miles from city center, but buses #31/32 which pick up across from the hotel run into the city center. Do make sure to get off at San Marco Plaza stop. The return buses #23A/B dropped off behind the huge Coop supermarket across the street from the hotel. It was convenient to walk in for water and food items during our stay. There is a good restaurant downstairs serving great pastas, steak and pizzas.

The Rosary Hotel exceeded our expectations! It was like staying at a Bed & Breakfast, very quaint and cozy. Breakfast every morning! The staff was amazing, extremely helpful in every way possible. The hotel is about 15 minutes by bus to the center of Florence and we had no trouble taking public transportation. The hotel owner and staff guided us where to eat, gave us maps to points of interest and also sold bus fare tickets right in the hotel. No need to go else where. All very convenient!!

Most appreciated was the personal service and superb breakfast. It's location was safe, quiet, and away from the Florence craziness. This hotel was an ideal choice and is highly recommended. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, if you need something in the midst of things, plan on somewhere else.

Although the rooms and bath are small, the overall experience is excellent. If you are looking for a Holiday Inn experience, this is not it, but if you want a nice Italian hotel, with a good breakfast, and easy access to the sites, a friendly staff and a relaxing stay, this will work. Be aware, thought, that they will add an extra charge for "local tax".

The staff at the Rosary Garden were fantastic, they made us fell comfortable and relaxed, and were great resources for local travel, tours and restaurants. The hotel is located an easy 15 min. bus ride from town, in a quiet neighborhood, with great bus service, and restaurants, the real Italy without the crowds. Historical Florence is beautiful, but crowded and noisy, it was nice to get out of downtown and the crowds.

It was cute and convenient with super nice staff. It's a little outside of town so if you are looking to be right in the middle of everything, this may not be for you. That said, we were near restaurants, a grocery store and a bus station for easy commuting into the center of town. I would gladly stay here again.

Thank you for your kind words of appreciation and for having chosen the Rosary Garden for your stay in Florence. Our rooms are all different, being in a Tuscan countryhouse style building, so we may have larger rooms with smaller bathrooms, or vice versa. Look forward to seeing you back in a not too distant future.
