This hotel lacks basic facilties which is expected in a 4 star hotel. Example - they give a bottle of tap water on the first day in the room. After that if you need water, you have to take the water bottle to the reception and asl them to fill it whixh is like staying on a 2 star lodge.doesnt have even electric kettle. There was no facility even for cold drinking watee when it was peak summers with 38 degrees. Basically this is like a lodge. Shouldn't be 4 star hotel

We stayed in late May 2025. This was a beautifully renovated hotel in the heart of Florence, a short walk to the famous sites, fabulous restaurants, and excellent shops. The staff were absolutely fantastic and were incredibly kind and helpful - suggesting a lovely restaurant for dinner, providing directions, and making sure that we were well cared for during our short stay. The room was beautiful, too, with a beautiful view of the city, comfortable beds, excellent temperature control (air conditioner worked well), spacious bathroom with a lovely shower and toiletries (in case we forgot anything). I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Awesome Florence home base

Great little hotel, reasonably priced, in the heart of Florence. Steps to the Mercato, Duomo and train station. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are stylish, modern and comfy. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Europe this trip.

The good thing about this hotel is its location! However, the room is small, breakfast is meh and service is ok. Check in is at 2. Came at 2 and there is no room available! And no apology!

Overall the property and staff were welcoming. The breakfast was great. The only issue we had was that our room was adjacent to a road- which was extremely noisy every morning and evening when vendors from the adjacent leather market push carts down this lane. I am not sure if this is an issue with our particular room ( triple comfort room and its location on the building ). There are many restaurants (San Lorenzo 1966) which is directly in front of the hotel had one of the better meals during our 3 week trip through Italy and we ended up having two meals there. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Close to Florence attractions and train station

Easily walkable to all main attractions in Florence as well as the main train station. The staff is very nice, let us check in early to our room, gave us a complimentary room upgrade on arrival, and helped take our bags up to our room. The breakfast was delicious and the waitress brought us fresh coffee to our liking. There are a ton of restaurant and shopping options in the area.

Amazing hotel. You’re 2 mins walk from the Duomo. We stayed in the suites which were nicely presented. The breakfast is 100% homemade, cakes, jams, marmalades. Very friendly staff. I’m not sure if there was a restaurant but you’re a short walk away from many.

We loved our stay for just one night. The location is perfect— close to the train station and many shops, restaurants, etc. We did not get the breakfast, but our room was stocked with a bottle of prosecco and some homemade biscotti with jam which was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room had an excellent view of the Duomo and the busy streets, yet it was completely sound proof. The beds are typical European comfort, much firmer than American mattresses. The staff were excellent and always happy to provide recommendations. I did not expect the showers to be as small as they were though. This was an excellent property overall and I would stay here again.
