Elegant and bright recently renovated apartment on the 2nd floor (NO elevator).
The apartment consists of two very large bedrooms, a big bathroom with shower and bathtub, another small bathroom in the double room, kitchen equipped with every accessory, lounge with double sofa bed.
It is located in an excellent position as it is a stone's throw from the bus and tram stops that take you to the historic center of the city in a few minutes.
The apartment is also located near the Cascine Park and the VISARNO ARENA which in summer hosts important events and concerts such as the Firenze Rocks.
It is also a convenient starting point for excursions in Chianti and trips outside the city to the most important tourist destinations in Tuscany (such as Pisa, Versilia, Livorno, etc.) as it is close to the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway and the entrances to the A1-A11 motorways.
Nearby there are grocery stores, markets, bars, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, ATMs, hairdressers, laundry, post office, shops, and every type of service that will make your stay even more pleasant.
In front of the apartment is the large park "Villa Strozzi Garden" ideal for walks, for children, and where numerous events take place in the summer (concerts, open-air theater, etc.).

Chiara was fantastic and treated us so kindly. She offered information about the area and was flexible on the meeting time. The apartment was clean and fully stocked. We wish there was a clothes dryer but realize that isn't common in this area/accommodation.

Spacious apartment in nice neighbourhood

Everything was as described and photographed. Chiara and Stefania were wonderful hosts. Both before and during the stay their communication was excellent and they were always very helpful. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well equipped and having 2 bathrooms and a washing machine was very useful for both ourselves and our guests during our month-long stay. However, the double bed was uncomfortable and needs to be changed. It was two single mattresses on a wood and metal frame but as they were wider than the frame, which had a raised edge, this led to a dip in the middle which affected the sleep of both myself and my husband. We feel that this would be a problem even for stays of a shorter time. The lighting in the sitting room was inadequate and made reading/working on the computer difficult and again this could be annoying even for shorter stays. Supplying just one pillow per guest was not enough and made sitting up in bed against the metal headboard uncomfortable. Other minor items like having only 3 cushions and 3 red wine glasses for an apartment that can take 4-6 people are things that can be easily dealt with. The neighbourhood has good travel links into the centre by both bus (4 mins walk) and tram (7 mins walk) and even walking into the Ponte Vecchio/Uffizi took us only 30-35 mins. 10 journey tickets can be bought and used in both bus and tram. We would recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay again.

The location was a draw back as it was a walk to the nearest bus, which took 15-30 minutes to get to city center. We found one good restaurant close by but there really wasn't much more to do. We were not allowed to use the elevator and the apartment is on the 3rd floor (they start with 0 instead of 1) and it was difficult to get our luggage up to the apartment. They were doing construction in the apartment next door and it was extremely noisy.

Wonderful Stay in Florence!

We had an amazing time at this apartment! The location is just steps away from bus and tram stops that took us to the historic center of Florence in no time. Exploring the city was a breeze! Also, there are fantastic pizzerias and a park within walking distance. The two large bedrooms provided ample space for our group of 5. The bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities. Plus, the lounge area with the double sofa bed was perfect for additional bedding. Our host was a wealth of knowledge. They shared local tips and made us feel right at home. We loved sipping our morning coffee on the balcony, overlooking the nearby “Giardino di Villa Strozzi.” It’s a serene spot for unwinding. The apartment’s location made exploring Tuscany a breeze. Also, the washing machine and Wi-Fi were included, and the price covered bathroom, bed, and kitchen linen. Just what we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment. The thoughtful touches, informative host, and proximity to everything made our Florence experience unforgettable.

There’s no frypan and one toilet has just sitting without bidet. There’s a pump at toilet. I don’t get it why installed in there. It makes funny noise sound even midnight when it use.

A very comfortable apartment for a larger group

The apartment is very comfortable and well laid out. We are a family of six and we had plenty of room there. There are many local shops around and public transport links to the city. However, it is a bit further than 11 minutes walk to the city centre.

Great short visit to Florence

We had a great visit to Florence as part of three weeks in Europe. The apartment was great, with easy access into Florence by tram. A nearby coffee shop was a regular breakfast spot and a restaurant not far away was great for dinners. Pizza is so good in Italy. Only one bedroom was air conditioned, but fans in the other rooms kept the record heat in June, 2023 bearable. The apartment has everything required and our hosts were friendly and helpful.
