Not worth money. The soudproof that they say in their sites is a Big Joke . Souns come from everywhere; from out , from corridoor, from other rooms, its quite infernal. I just think how they can say there is soundproof. I know this is side by the railway and tram and buses but still. My room looking not to railway is economy double, its small and dark ( some kind of screen outside not possible to move). Only positive thing is very comfort bed. And the breakfast was good, but many of spoons, plates and so on was dirty
The staff was warm and welcoming in their attitude which is very helpful in a foreign country. They helped us out in letting us know where to go for food and guided tours which was appreciated. The hotel is very close to the train station literally steps away so don't get hustled by a charming Italian cab driver when you arrive at the train station ( which is what happened to my sister and I). Our room was both comfortable and clean the only complaint is the scent of the airfreshner was a little too strong for me.
The hotel is ideally located near the Florence Train station. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. I would like to particularly thank Sylvia at the reception for her help and awesome customer service!!!!! Great place, great staff!
This is a very nice hotel. I was surprised to find that it was nice and so close to train station and main sights in the city of Florence. We stayed for two days and it was clean and the staff were helpful, although busy. The breakfast was a bit too disorganized for me. There must have been tour groups staying, so I didn't do that the second day. They had a large selection of items, but it was a struggle to find them and many things were out. Too much of a rat race. I would still stay in this hotel again. Good price, good location and nice room.
We are staying in this hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is located very close to the train station. This was important to us because when we leave Florence we will be taking the train. Our hotel room was very clean and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. It was very quiet and felt very safe. We were happy that we were able to have air conditioning during September. The hotel bar has an excellent happy hour from 6-9 for $10 which includes a drink of your choice and a small buffet of appetizers...you can't beat it. The bartender is very friendly and goes out of his way to give you want you want. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This location is very convenient to see the sights of Florence and to have access to the Termini for buses and trains. The hotel is right across the street from the Termini. At first, we were worried about the noise, but during our four day stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of noise and had four good sleeps. The breakfast is very good and the staff was very helpful. The rooms had safes and the rooms were also very clean and the shower was hot and of good force. The hotel provides free Wifi. The only down side is that the bus could not stop in front of the hotel, due to the traffic around the Termini. The driver pulled up to the side street and we had a two minute walk to the hotel with our luggage. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk away from the Domo. We would stay at this hotel again.
A somewhat expensive hotel vs what you are paying for. Location is very good down town and close to most areas you want to visit. I stayed here two different nights during my latest trip to Italy and both rooms were VERY small. My shower only had red-hot water and my sink was plugged.
The hotel is clean, up to date amenities: CNN, free coffee , great staff at front desk, great free breakfast, elevators, AC, It is also in walking distance of most attractions. also the prices very reasonable
great location, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast The hotel was right off the train station, accessible to supermarkets, restaurants, laundry and tourist pick up point ( hop on hop off bus) Decent size room, big washroom and complimentary wifi that actually works :)
This is a nice looking contemporary style hotel. It has a prime location located right next to the train station and easily walkable to any of the major areas of Florence - we never took any other form of transportation to get anywhere within a reasonable time. The staff was nice and accommodating. Breakfast was extensive and relaxing. The room also had a proper walk-in shower (although it was small and can only fit one person). However, the biggest issue was the wifi. It was spotty at best and many times didn't work at all within our room. We had a really hard time getting and maintaining a proper connection. If someone else was using it (next room over) then forget it. I know that sounds like a first-world problem (and it is), but it's important in the 21st century to have reliable and proper connectability (especially when you advertise it and for tourists who require the internet to get info, book stuff, talk to family, etc.). Otherwise this hotel was nice. No proper restaurant, but they have a bar that does a "happy hour" that includes any drink with a "buffet" of cheap sandwiches and cheese for 10 euros (which is honestly cheaper than any drink you'll get elsewhere besides wine). The bar tender/breakfast host was a nice guy as well. Overall an average-good experience in an absolutely wonderful city.
