Maintenance Access:
 Annual Preventive Maintenance: Some properties have scheduled checks for

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY — UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE CONDITIONSI strongly urge others to avoid renting this property or doing business with Properties by Preston. The unit was listed as non-smoking, yet from day one, it reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. The smell triggered migraines and nausea, and we found a weed pipe under the exterior steps—indicating this is an ongoing, ignored issue.The air conditioning never worked properly. Despite reporting it on Day 1, the thermostat stayed in the mid-75s even when set to 66. The system ran constantly without cooling. We gave the management team 8 full days to fix these serious issues, but they failed to act.We ended our stay early due to the uninhabitable conditions. Both the property managers and VRBO customer service acknowledged that a refund for the unused nights would be issued. However, over 19 calendar days later, we are still waiting. We’ve received only vague references to an ongoing “review,” with no refund or explanation provided.This company shows a complete lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to uphold basic standards of cleanliness and comfort. Unless you're fine with smoke-filled units, broken A/C, and unfulfilled refund promises, stay far away from this property and this management company.Unless you are comfortable living with the smell of cigarettes and marijuana, broken A/C, and poor accountability, I strongly advise against renting this apartment or any property.
