Awesome house and location

House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.

Great family vacation

We had a great time at the Mill Lake Cabin! We had everything we needed and if there was something we did need or had a question, Chuck (the owner) was easy to reach! We loved the cabin, property and the lake. We were on the lake many times either fishing, tubing or just boating around and most times we had the lake to ourselves! Fishing was very good too! Ton of bass action for sure and plenty of keeper sunfish! We will definitely consider a return trip in the future!

Beautiful rental

The house was beautiful and fully furnished sitting close to beautiful Mill Lake. In the listing a hot tub was shown as an amenity but was no where to be found. We also were told we could have use of the pontoon but the owners were using it since their's wasn't in the water. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and sitting on the deck soaking up the sun. It was nice when we had questions because the owners live right next door. Thank you for a nice lake weekend up North!

Great weekend retreat with friends

We had beautiful weather, we enjoyed time outdoors on the deck with a great view of the lake. While we didnt use the bunk house, I could see kids having a great time out there in their own lil fort. We enjoyed our stay and our time in the Alexandria area. I would definatly stay again.

Ladies Weekend

Everything was great - The ease of checking in to checking out. The 3 bathrooms were great for 6 women staying there. The place is gorgeous: the view, the amenities and accommodations, the fire pit was nice and close and the owners were exceptional. We all enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next year.

Family vaca

The property is even better than in the photos. Great space for families, 3 bathrooms a plus. Loved that it was pet friendly. Use of the pontoon was one of my favorite things. Nice yard for games and hanging out.

Great week on Mill Lake

We had a wonderful time. Chuck was welcoming and quick to answer our questions. The cabin, large lawn for games, lake (and weather!) were perfect for our family. The 3 bathrooms in particular were ideal. We spent many hours on the spacious deck! Looking for to staying again.

Retirement, Relaxation, and Time with Family

The cabin was a perfect location to celebrate my retirement with family. We spent two weeks and had a great time! The cabin is very well kept, nicely furnished, and clean. The cabin central air and air conditioned bunk house was a huge benefit for the hot days. Chuck and Debbie are great hosts, they were receptive to all our questions and made us feel at home. We would definitely like to stay again!

Everything about this stay was convenient. it was 90 minutes closer to the metro than our usual trip. AC kept us cool, all the conveniences of home were included. The large deck had full shade by 1 each day. Lot's of room for everyone and a very chill vibe.

Amazing!

My family and I loved our time at this lake home! It was clean, organized and very well stocked. We greatly enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake for meals and just relaxing in the sun. The dock and fishing on Mill Lake was great as an added bonus too! We hope to return!

Great cabin to spend time outdoors!

If you’re looking to spend time outside at a cabin, this is the place for you! My friends and I stayed here Labor Day weekend and had a fantastic time. The yard is huge for all sorts of activities and the deck is great for relaxing with a view of the lake. Inside of the cabin is also very nice. Overall, our group had a great time and would stay again.

The ultimate family getaway!

This property met all our expectations. The owner (Chuck) greeted us when we arrived. He went through the ins and outs of the cabin, bunkhouse and outside property. The cabin was fully stocked with all the amenities you will need plus more. We will be booking again. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Very Clean & Spacious!

Very nice property! Did not disappoint! Very clean, spacious and nice view of the lake. It’s only 10-15 minutes into Alexandria and was nice to be able to come and go without it taking so much of our time! Had games available for any downtime, ample parking. Had the option of the bunkhouse. I wouldn’t recommend for adults wanting to sleep in there, but think it would be great option for older kids for sure! Has its own AC and very nice option for extra room if you have younger ones! Thanks for a great week, Chuck!

Perfect Summer Vacation Property

I highly recommend this property for rental. At first glance you will notice how clean it is and actually is bigger than the pictures show. The bedrooms are a nice size with good storage. The 2½ bathrooms are modern and so clean. Our two granddaughters claimed the bunkhouse right away; the outside temps. were quite warm when they were with us, but the air conditioner kept it very comfortable for them. The kitchen, dining and living room areas are also spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. Another plus for this property is the large deck. We ate every meal outside and spent a fair amount of time lounging enjoying the lake view. The area is quiet during the week, but picks up a bit during the week-end. We brought our own boat and felt it was secure tying it up to the dock. We only did a bit of fishing; caught a few but threw them back. The owners, Chuck and Debbie were very helpful with any questions we had and we had several good visits with them over the 10 days of our stay. If you want a break from the lake, the Alexandria area is packed with eateries, wineries, breweries, shopping, golf, amusement park and more. This is a topnotch rental property; we would definately rent it again.
