Great stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house is located in a very nice quiet area and short drive to Asheville. Our host was great making sure we have everything we needed. The house has many outdoor areas to hangout.

The house was in perfect condition and the owners are lovely. This was perfect for multiple families, especially with the downstairs that allows for kids (or adults) to be seperate.

Great Stay

George was super responsive and helpful the entire trip! The property was beautiful and super cool. Lots of different spaces to hang out. The kitchen was very well equipped! The beds were all very comfy.

Great place for a large group of friends

11 of us stayed here for a girls weekend away and had a wonderful time. Communication from the host was great, the house was spotless and everything was just so comfortable. Hot tub was spotless, there were a ton of different places to relax, and we loved the projector screen. Would absolutely recommend.

Great place! Very spacious!

The house had everything we needed from cookware to entertainment. The field was awesome for some yard games and the projector made college game day great! There was plenty of space for all of us and the beds and couches were all comfortable.

Wonderful!

This home checked all of our boxes for a group trip because of the open living areas and actually having beds for everyone! This is a host who does not cut corners with making sure the home is well appointed. It was extremely clean and well maintained.

Spacious, relaxing, equipped multi-family mountain house

The host was reliable, timely and respectful. The property is located between Asheville and Chimney Rock - ideal for exploring downtown and hiking. The space is large, airy, relaxing and accommodating for multiple couples. The master shower, soft bed linens, windows, pretty entrance/property and hot tub were the most memorable features.

Very Private and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay and it was very convenient for our visits to the Biltmore Estate. George was very helpful with all my questions and requests. He responded very quickly which I appreciated. The house was big enough for 9 of us. Would stay again if we ever get down that way again.

Fairview escape

Our family of 4 were joined by grandparents during our stay. The house was extremely comfortable for a large group- with plenty of space to gather upstairs and/or outside but also plenty of space to spread out. The host was in contact from the start of our stay and had good advice throughout. The property was located within about 20-30 minutes of all the activities we were interested in doing, so that was great too.

Thanksgiving vacation

We had a great time at this place. It is close to Asheville but tucked away for a privacy. My granddaughters loved the friendly horses and turkeys next door that came out to visit when we were outside. The house was a perfect size for our family and everything we needed was provided. The kitchen was well equipped which was a huge plus cooking dinners. You will not be disappointed renting this home.

Great Asheville Getaway!

We had the best time at George's house. From booking onward, George was extremely communicative and helpful with everything from the check-in/check-out process, to recommendations of things to do locally. The house looks nice from the pictures, but honestly, the pictures don't even do it justice. It is a gorgeous property with everything you could possibly need for the weekend! It is also conveniently located to Downtown Ashville, lots of hiking, and the Black Mountain area! We had a great time and will certainly be back!!

Lovely house

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was my husband and me with my brother and sister-in-law. The house was perfect for the two couples to gather together and have privacy as well. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The house had everything we needed and the communications with George were helpful and easy. The location is perfect - close enough to Asheville to get dinner but far enough away from the city feel. It was also close enough to hiking locations with waterfalls. All in all it was a really great stay!

Great Family Home

Plenty of space for two families (inc. 5 kids) to have their own space. Had fun exploring the large property, watching the horses and visiting the brewery across the street. Easy drive to hiking and downtown Asheville. All spices, pots and pans, cooking utensils to prepare meals at home. Host was easily accessible and answered any questions right away. Very clean home. Loved the large projector for movies!

Great time on a secluded land

There was 6 adult males who stayed at the property. We had ample space and truly enjoyed our time. It was close enough to Asheville and Brevard and other major attractions but still felt secluded and peaceful. The only gripe we could muster amongst all of us was the lack of water pressure. However, the water tasted so clean and fresh compared to our different city waters. In the end I would highly recommend staying here. Great property, great host and thoroughly enjoyed the location.

Charming (and roomy!) Asheville house

This house is truly lovely! The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are all a nice size, and the little extras (Kuerig, diffuser, soaps, etc.) provide a personal touch. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyed nightly by my crew. We also liked watching a movie on the projector screen. From the moment we booked this house, the host George was in touch and helpful. He was hospitable throughout our time there as well, giving solid recommendations for restaurants and things to do. If considering a stay in Asheville, this gem is sure to please!

Asheville Getaway Close to Everything!

Overall nice property with convenient location to all local area attractions. Extra bonus of projector/screen for a cozy movie night at home. Need a connector for your computer or smart phone, no worries, all are there for you! For those with grown children with grandchildren like us, a lower level kitchen, den, bedrooms, etc. for one family and the upper main for all others!! Owner really wants you to have a great stay and it shows in the house, the amenities, and the overall booking/hosting process. Hot tub was great!

Firefly Magic!

We booked this property for a week! First 3 days was a fabulous girls weekend then the boys joined us. Short drive to Asheville and a grocery store, this place had all the extras a thoughtful owner would have. Soft comfy bed linens, wonderfully stocked kitchen, great outdoor space, I can’t say enough about this property. The owners were wonderfully accommodating and communication with them was super easy and fast. To anyone looking for a great space that can accommodate a group... stop looking because this it it!!

Great house for any group

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is spacious and well appointed. George is a very responsive and helpful host. In addition to providing linens, soap, garbage bags, spices, etc., George was in touch leading up to our trip with suggestions for local restaurants, breweries, and things to do. The home is lovely -- so much natural light, large beautiful deck with a fire table, and a huge yard perfect for outdoor play with kids. The home was *spotless* upon arrival. It's an easy trip to Dupont State Park for hiking, Hendersonville, gem mining at Elijah Mountain, and Asheville. There's even a walkable brewery. Would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful, quiet get away near Asheville

This was the perfect house to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday in with a few of our closest friends. The living spaces were spacious and inviting. All amenities that were needed were there for us. The public and private decks provided opportunities for group or individual respite. George and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable thanks to a note and quick communications from them when needed. The local goodies were a nice treat too! Our guests had plenty of space to relax and unwind as well. The house was also easily accessible to local grocery stores, for stocking up on other essentials, and close enough to downtown Asheville when we were ready for an urban adventure. The surrounding area was beautiful as well. I'm so glad that we found this special place!

Perfect spot for a family gathering/special occasion!

My wife and I stayed at this special place for 11 nights, with our granddaughter's wedding reception as the highlight. It nicely accommodated family members for several nights surrounding the reception. The spacious deck and beautiful grounds were the perfect setting for the reception. Before and after the wedding festivities, it became a relaxing hideaway for my wife and me. Among our favorite features: the hot tub, movie screen, wall of windows off the kitchen, a private deck off the master bedroom and patio off another bedroom, the brewery across the street, and a long tree-lined driveway that sold us before we even checked in. George is a ideal host, always promptly answering questions and offering any other help (such as teaching a tech dunce like me how to use the incredible sound system). All in all, a five-star experience!

Book this house!!

I booked George's home for a 3 night stay for 10 women and it was absolutely perfect. Directions, check-in, communication, etc. could not have been easier, and the home itself was absolutely beautiful with cool artwork, views, comfortable beds and our favorite part- the projector! We had SO MUCH fun watching old music videos, SNL clips, and a surprise slideshow of childhood pictures we put together before the trip. It was easy to use and really made the whole weekend that much more fun. The location is about 15-20 from downtown Asheville and we had no trouble getting a Lyft when needed. We also visited a brewery about a mile away called Whistlehop that I highly recommend. It had a very cool vibe and live music on Thursday night. Thank you George and family for helping to make our NC trip the best ever!
