Nice hotel. The continental breakfast was good. Close to Fred Meyer's, Walgreen's, Carl Jr., and Taco Bell. However, we stayed two nights, after the first night, there was not any room service. After the second night, housekeeping only removed the trash and replenish towels, but did not make beds, replenish the coffee.

Only problem was heat -- we checked in on Friday, heating system in room did not work (couldn't vary from 69F, day or night, and fan blew continually) until maintenance fellow was available Monday. Then it was a simple ten-minute fix. All ok otherwise/

The hotel isn’t terrible but it also isn’t great. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Overall it’s a decent place for the price (I booked when there was a sale).

Minor issues were that the No Disturb sign was missing for our room, and the pillows were a bit too small. It would be nice if the hotel could clean the snow on the parking lot. Everything else was very well.

The room wasn’t the cleanest (dusty, seemingly dirty), but I would say similar to other hotels in the price range. The old saying is definitely true, you get what you pay for. I was disappointed with the room not being ready when we arrived late. Towels, rags, and hand towels were missing from the room. It also had a bit of a smell so we had to air out the room for a few minutes. There was damage to items in the room that should have been fixed before someone else being placed in the room. Several mornings we came to breakfast and there seemed to be no one managing the area (instead it seemed something on their phone was very important) so items were empty even though breakfast was not over for 1-2 hours. Overall it was ok, but I would likely not stay here again.

Nice hotel and room with very helpful and friendly staff. Noise from lobby during the night plus elevator and plumbing sounds plus footsteps overhead made it difficult to sleep.

We stayed for 7 days and it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable would definitely stay again

We used this hotel to relax until we had to get our 1 am flight. They had free shuttle/taxi service to the airport which was very near. The room was great and the staff was friendly.

we have to thank the staff for waking us up before the dawn, so we enjoyed the incomparable aurora in the back yard of the hotel, much better than we did in the clear summit two days ago at midnight. Breakfast is satisfying. The only drawback is the window cann't open in the room, we love fresh air.

The last time I stayed in Fairbanks it was at a place that cost almost as much for 1 night as I paid for 2 here, and it was decent. This time I stayed at the Best Western Plus Chena River, and it was wonderful. Modern, clean, comfortable, cheap...my boyfriend and I couldn't have been happier! Very nice staff as well.

Breakfast - high carb. Room nice but nothing elaborate. Experience good but not great.

I travel to Fairbanks on a regular basis, I choose this hotel every time. I like the staff and the rooms are always clean.

The hotel was nice. It was comfortable and large enough. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

I had to pick up my boyfriend from the airport late at night and had asked for a late check out and the girl at the front desk said they dont do that because they are busy in the summer and that if i wanted to check with the head housekeeper in the morning she could let us know if we could check out late. It was spring for one thing and sine i had to get up anyway to contact the lead we just got up and checked out. Also they were not busy, when we checked out there was 2 cars in the whole parking lot and online there were plenty of rooms available and we could have checked out late with no inconvenience to others coming in. I will not stay at this Best Western again. Bad customer service.

nice stay

The room wasn’t the cleanest (dusty, seemingly dirty), but I would say similar to other hotels in the price range. The old saying is definitely true, you get what you pay for. comfortable and close to the airport
