Bottom line: Old motel with only basic cosmetic upkeep and thin walls- BUT! Excellent & clean bed with warm sheets, hot shower with good water pressure, nice staff, and a full American Motel breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. This motel is old, creaky, and has thin walls, so you're at the mercy of the type of folks staying over that night. There's a Red Lion across the street that's fancier, and plenty of spots in old downtown if you want to pay $50-100 more for the same level of bed comfort. But if you're a roadtripper looking for an honest overnight stop with a gated & fenced-in parking lot, decent warm meal in the morning, and great bed comfort, for the price this spot was a great place to sleep and a killer value.

Room is nice and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. But my room 131 is located close to 101 road and it is noisy and sometimes irritating from those cars passed by. Overall it’s pretty good place to stay.

Breakfast seemed like leftover potatos and eggs...though they did come bring fresh stuff shortly after I was done eating (I was there first thing, so I am sure it wasn't fresh.). The Gym could use some attention, the treadmill was stuck in an incline and the crawl space cover above the bike was wide open and the pool was out of order. The staff were all wonderful and helpful. The fenced parking lot is a welcomed feature. I will stay again as I come to Eureka to visit my daughter who is in school there.
