University Area Bungalow - The Moxie Harris House

The Moxie Harris House is within blocks of the University District (1.2 miles away from Matthew Knight Arena, 1/2 mile from campus), & features a modern home with stylish higher-end furnishings. The inside is brand new in 2018 w/granite, stainless appliances, propane fireplace, wood floors, and lots of fun card + boardgames to enjoy. No need to bring a playpen, we have one inside should you need it. Outside you will find a Trex deck with a propane BBQ and outdoor dining table. Below the deck is a concrete patio with a propane fire pit and chairs around. Beyond the patio is a yard. Cornhole, giant outdoor Jenga, and outdoor Yahtzee to enjoy. This home sits in a great walkable neighborhood with the running/bike path within a half mile.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony or patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find a Smart TV with a DVD player. The memory foam bed provides a full night's sleep and the bathroom offers hair dryers. This was nice home in a great location. We very much enjoyed the backyard and patio, as well as the fire pit. It was a great place to hang out and visit. The only issue we had was that the outdoor grill was not clean when we first used it, and the grill utensils need to be upgraded. We would stay here again.

Perfect accommodations for our family visiting our freshman U of O duck. Shelly has thought of everything to make this a home away from home. Plenty of space to hang out inside and in the backyard. Bbq, fire pit and outdoor games kept the family busy. We hope to return again!

This house was perfect! The owners have thought of every detail and are obviously focused on guest comfort. The layout was perfect for us with two bedrooms on one side of the house and the master bedroom on the other side. All of the furniture was so comfortable, the linens were very high-quality, the beds were super comfy and the appliances were top-notch. The rain prevented us from enjoying the beautiful backyard and bikes!

We loved this house and the convenience to everything in Eugene. It was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, etc. and the layout was great. A few areas of concern: 1) the TV in the main living room was stuck on 1 channel and could not be changed; 2) the master bedroom bed was not comfortable from the mattress to the duvet; 3) I think the floors and area rugs could use a cleaning; and 4) we would have liked to ride bikes that are pictured in the listing but could not find them and the binder of instructions did not give guidance.

Shelley and Robert have done an incredible job updating this house and have thought of everything. Great little remodel with lots of amenities

This property was very nicely redone. The owners have put much thought into anything you might need while there. We cook a lot on our vacations, and the kitchen was really well established. When we had an issue pop up, the owners were immediately responsive. The yard is fantastic and we were quite comfortable in the home. Our only frustration was paying a cleaning fee and being asked to do laundry, strip beds, dishwashers, and take out trash for check out. Maybe one of those things, but all of those things seemed excessive. Also notable that the owners stay in a trailer behind the house. That felt a bit watchful. All in all, this was just a really nice spot and it is clear that they have put tremendous effort into making it comfortable for guests.
