I knew this was close to a main road when I booked it so it is down to me, the Buffet on a Sunday was excellent, but didn't reall take full advantage as I had been on the road for over 9 hours from Switzerland getting there on my way home to the UK. I didn't take breakfast so cannot comment, as I wanted to get back on the road (my choice) the staff were excellent (welcoming and friendly) the room was very clean although a bit dated. Overall the venue was good value for money.

Super service and great food

This is a very basic hotel with a tired appearance and no air conditioning. Nonetheless, the food in the restaurant was superb - we particularly enjoyed a goat's cheese and warm lardon salad which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we had arrived with eleven boxes of wine and champagne and because of the high air temperature in early July we were concerned that it would deteriorate while stored in the car. However, the manager immediately produced a trolley and the wine was stored in a hotel cupboard overnight. You can't ask for better service!

A stop in Champagne

A short visit to champagne, central location for day trips. Efforts are being made to renovate the hotel, we had a new bathroom fit out, small & compact but fresh shower & tiles, however extremely dark space for makeup application. Bedroom also dark, deep colours on the wall seem to absorb the light. Bed very comfortable. We ate dinner one night, a buffet with many choices. Reception staff pleasant & helpful with local tourism information. We would recomend for a short stay

Don't be put off by looking at the hotel on goggle street view. You are looking at the back.

An excellent hotel experience

Very welcoming - we had a ground floor garden room with parking for the car by the door - very handy when handling heavy luggage! The room was spacious, cleqn qnd comfortable.The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. We can recommend La Bagatelle without reservation (no pun intended!)

Great Stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are very friendly, the room is clean, dinner was a delicious buffet with champagne chosen by our waitress. I am looking forward to staying here again. Many thanks.

À éviter absolument

Chambre très médiocre avec une odeur de renfermé, des volets de velux qui ne fonctionne pas donc lumière dans la chambre dès qu'il fait jour. Tv avec peu de chaînes accessible. Point de vue de la restauration,la fraîcheur n'est pas au rdv , genre la charcuterie non mise sur le réfrigérateur à l'air libre comme le fromage. Bref très mauvaise expérience et hors de prix pour ce qu'il propose. Je ne recommande pas du tout.
