We hesitantly reserved this property, in part because of other reviews, but I believe in trying things for myself. No regrets at all! We arrived and checked the property out before exploring the wineries - I have been going to Valle de Guadalupe for over 20 years. Sara, the attendant, was fabulous and welcoming. After enjoying the Valle, we returned and immediately, Sara had our fire pit all set up and our complimentary bottle of wine ready for us. There were at least 4 other guests but we all kept to our own thing, music and all until late into the night (early morning really). We came prepared with ear plugs because of the roster, and yes, they will make noise early in the morning. The restrooms were a little but of a hassle, only two for the entire campground. That said, they were very clean and well stocked. I would definitely return and recommend.
This is a great concept unfortunately the maintenance is Lacking. We have no complains about the staff, they did the best they could. We arrived early to choose our tent, regret we weren’t the only ones that made the tent a home. It was infested with earwigs !! After the tent being clean 3 times they just keep coming back. I am writing this so the property owners can do something about it. We did have other friends that came with and they didn’t have any bugs. I do have to mention that & again the staff were great. But this place can use a bit of TLC... like trimmed pathways, better bathrooms since they only have 2, lighting. With minor improvements this place could be amazing
