Cabin was nice and clean. No issues with anything. One thin to note is the drive up to the cabin can be difficult in a low ground clearance vehicle due to the condition of the road.

Beautiful location and lovely cabin. The host responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. Beautiful shower and modern bathroom and kitchen. As many reviews said - it is up a mountain road so best to arrive the first day before dark.

We loved this property. Bradley was an excellent host. He answered every question we had almost immediately. We brought our 2 grandchildren with us and, although it was one room, we never felt crowded! The kids loved walking around the property and up and down the dirt road. We visited the Mercier apple orchard, hiked to a waterfall, road the Blue Ridge train, all within a few miles of the cabin. It was hard to leave the last day!!! We highly recommend this property!!!

The forest view was peaceful and very quiet. Be prepared to climb the mountain. It gets to one lane towards the top, so you have to be careful and on the lookout for other vehicles. Overall, a fantastic weekend.

Had a lovely, lovely stay - we absolutely adored the cabin and the surrounding area. It is evident hosts really care for the property and the experiences of guests. It feels like a dreamy treehouse. We will be coming back! (Soon, hopefully!)

So peaceful and such a beautiful property. Is a gravel road, but did not bother me. Definitely need a suv or better vehicle to get to location, but well worth it for peace and quiet. Shower and cabin exactly as described. Would rent again.

The property was nice but remote Access is challenging and made all the more difficult as we arrived at night in a driving rainstorm. Definitely try to arrive in the daylight. Property is more suited for 2 people, not 4. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place! Bring what you need. No Uber eats up here! Overall, very nice property.

Mountain Getaway

Bradley was awesome!! Gave us great ideas of things to do and places to eat, cabin was awesome and clean, definitely rough terrain getting to there.. loved the rain pouring in the woods sitting on the patio with a glass of wine!!! Very peaceful place to stay! Would recommend!

Great Cabin Getaway

We had an incredible stay at this cozy studio cabin to celebrate both our wedding anniversary and Mother’s Day. The cabin was perfect for a quiet getaway with a woodsy, private view of the mountainside and a spacious stone shower that made the space feel like a retreat. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the porch and listening to the peaceful sound of the water flowing nearby. It really added to the relaxing atmosphere. Bradley was an outstanding host. He communicated clearly about the property and gave helpful information about the gravel roads leading to the cabin. He also went out of his way to organize flowers for my wife for both Mother’s Day and our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us. He provided great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape with a personal touch.

Starry nights and roaring fires

What can I say, this is the perfect mountain getaway! Secluded cabin at the top of the mountain surrounded by woods with the sound of the river below. The night’s darkness and the stars lighting up the sky….cant ask for more! The drive up and down is exciting (4x4 is definitely recommended to make the drive easy) and I would suggest trying to make it to check in while it’s still light out to make it easier to navigate first time up. Stop for supplies down the road before going up and using the fireplace on cold nights is a plus. WiFi available with streaming video. The shower her is awesome! You won’t be disappointed!
