Its the most amazing hidden place we've ever been. All the effort is worth to make the 2-2,5 hours of walking reach the Refugio.

This is an amazing experience. A luxury hut on the edge of a glacier. It is about 40 minute drive from El Chalten and then it took me 2hrs 20 minutes to walk to the hut. The only way to get to the hut is by foot. The accommodation and food is great, the views amazing. It is warm and clean. Rooms are all bunk beds I believe. I loved it and stayed 2 nights. No actual trails from the hut to go walking from yet though they plan to create some in the future. But I spent a day just relaxing, staring out at the incredible view, reading and relaxing. No wifi of course. I high recommend.

Die Berghütte Puesto Cagliero liegt herrlich einsam oberhalb des Sees mit freiem Blick auf den Gletscher. Nirgendwo in den Alpen würde man eine solche Sicht auf einer kleinen Berghütte genießen können - hier ist es möglich. Preislich nicht unbedingt für jeden erschwinglich, allerdings erlebt man unvergessliche Hüttenabend mit anderen Wanderern und dem höchste freundlichen Personal.
