Sandrine and Francis were most welcoming. Gite Hirondelle is extremely comfortable, stylish and well appointed. It is in a quiet location, only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Eguisheim, with its own (double) parking space. A delightful home from home and an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Alsace.

Lovely little house in a nice area. Nice yard. Well equipped. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Property description, however, is somewhat deceptive. The property is actually a duplex so yard is shared with one patio on the side and the other in back. 3 bathrooms, 2 in suite, but bathrooms don’t have toilets. Upstairs shared toilet is in the hall between the 2 bedrooms. No sink in WC. 3 rd bedroom is in the basement. Toilet is upstairs on the ground floor. Hot tub is a spa bathtub in the basement laundry room with basement sink and sauna.

Eguisheim Excellence

A great location to enjoy this wonderful area from. Friendly people, excellent wines and choices of restaurants, convenience for Colmar, Strasbourg and Mulhouse, and a very quiet neighbourhood. Francis and Sandrine are wonderful hosts, with every aspect covered.

Alsace gem

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful property. The pictures don't do it justice; it is immaculately presented and exceptionally clean. The quality of the fixtures and fittings is top class. Eguisheim is a 10 minute easy walk away from the house which is in a quiet residential area. The owners are friendly and welcoming and available to answer any questions. Would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Eguisheim.

Beautiful decor, great location

This was a lovely house - very modern and beautifully decorated and extremely well-equipped for a holiday home (no searching around for a sharp knife or an extra loo roll!). The terrace felt very private even though you are in the middle of a residential area. Check-in and check-out was very easy and we felt welcomed. The location was spot-on, short walk into town for restaurants and a bakery, souvenir shops etc. Eguisheim itself is a postcard village - very beautiful - but Colmar also a really short drive away with large supermarkets and plenty more shops and restaurants. One tip - if you want a meal in Eguisheim, book a table the day before! It gets very busy! Also just a note in case it helps anyone else - I was actually working during the day while I stayed here (my friends were on holiday) and the wifi was perfectly fast enough for video conferencing etc.

Just perfect!

Such a beautiful home, Sandrine was so helpful with questions we had running up to our visit. We were not able to source a transfer so she offered to collect us from the airport and organise a transfer for going home as we were not hiting a car, which was really appreciated and very much appreciated. When we arrived there was wine and juice waiting for us and the house was better than we could of imagined. The village is just a short walk away and so pretty we thought we had landed in a fairy tail. We are planning on returning and highly recommend this as a peaceful retreat.

Great quality house in an interesting area

This is a great quality house, well equipped and very comfy. It has the added extras of a pleasant garden and terrace with good seating - as well as an indoor sauna. It’s an easy 10 mins walk to the interesting historic town of Eguisheim, yet the house is in a quiet residential area. Our hosts were helpful with local tips and clearly maintain the house to a very high standard. There’s lots to see in the Alsace area with its rich history and plentiful vineyards. We would recommend a trip here : and this house is a great good quality base for exploring.

Lovely property in such a pretty loction

We stayed here from 9/6 - 16/6/18. We were warmly welcomed and shown around a spotless and beautifully decorated property. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Eguisheim is a pretty village with lots of places to eat (though mainly from Thursday to Sunday) There is lots to see and do in the area and we should have had 2 weeks and not one.

Lovely holiday home in Eguisheim

This modern property was extremely well- equipped and furnished to a high standard. It was in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of the centre of the pretty town of Eguisheim. Our hosts, Francis and Sandrine, were very helpful and there was plenty of useful tourist information in the villa. The villa is well-positioned for accessing the main routes to the south and north, so we were well-placed for sightseeing in the area. Colmar was 15 mins drive away. We would certainly return to this villa to explore the Alsace in more detail.

Prachtig ingericht 2 onder 1 kap huis

Vrij nieuw prachtig ingericht huis, uitstekend uitgerust met apparatuur en keukengerei. Bijzonder aardige eigenaren, uitstekende service. Wat ons echter niet duidelijk was, was dat we geen vrijstaand huis geboekt hadden, maar dat het in feite een 2 onder 1 kap was: je buren grenzen direct aan jouw huis, en er is ook geen duidelijk onderscheid qua tuin. Als we geweten hadden dat we geen vrijstaand huis geboekt hadden, dan hadden we dit huis niet geboekt

Goldener Herbst im Elsass

Eguisheim und seine Umgebung ist vom Haus aus sehr gut erreichbar. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, Antworten auf Fragen unsererseits kamen schnell. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und gut gelegen, der Ortskern ist zu Fuss in weniger als zehn Minuten erreichbar.

Hervorragende Unterkunft in bester Lage

Wir haben wundervolle Herbsttage mit der Familie in dieser sehr gut ausgestatteten Unterkunft verlebt. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert. Die Besitzer waren jederzeit erreichbar, super nett und die Kommunikation war mehr als perfekt. Die Lage zu Eguisheim war fußläufig zu erreichen. Abends Essen gehen, Wein verkosten in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten alle unmittelbar in der Nähe. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung.

Ein super Ferienhaus!

Wir haben in dem Ferienhaus eine tolle Woche verbracht. Das Ehepaar Ulrich ist sehr nett, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist absolut sauber, zweckmäßig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Eguisheim ist ein netter Ort, prima gelegen.

Superbe location

Ce gîte propose des prestations haut de gamme. L’équipement, la décoration, …tout a été pensé pour que les vacanciers passent un très agréable séjour. Una casa acogedora

Une maison confortable comme son propriétaire. Il ne manquait pas de détails, chaleureux, décoré avec de très bon goût, je ne sais pas depuis combien d'années il est loué mais il semble que nous ayons eu une première, un excellent nettoyage, un quartier calme et très bien situé pour visiter ça partie de l'Alsace. Totalement recommandable. Nous avons passé des jours merveilleux et la maison y a grandement contribué
