Beautiful property in prime location
Located only steps away from the beach and the fantastic Noordholland Duinenreservat, you couldn't find a better location. The apartment has a large and well appointed living area and very functional kitchen (however, there were no food items whatsoever, not even sugar and salt). The large dining table with comfortable chairs allowed for some memorable family dinners.
Keep in mind that while the main bedroom is of a good size, bedrooms 2 + 3 are very small. But as we spent our time in the living area and outside, this was not a big deal.
Checking in was rather cumbersome. The key code had to be picked up in another city. Fortunately, we had a rental car this year, last year I vacationed in Egmond by train and would have spent hours to get this. This was not communicated until after full payment.
No questions to the host were possible until after full payment. Request for checking in a couple of hours early (the unit had not been rented in the previous days) were not accommodated due to poor communication: originally I was told to ask for that when picking up the key, but when I did that I was told I should have asked for that much earlier.
