At first we choose this property because we had a large family coming with us. Our group size got reduced but the host was very pleasant and got excited about helping us make this a big surprise for our daughter as we were bringing her up to attend University.Discussions ensued and an agreement to decorate the house and have a bottle of champagne on ice upon our arrival. We were very excited and stayed with this property rather than downsizing because of their communication and attention to detail.Sadly, we arrived at the property around 7pm , 3 hours after we got the keys. The house cleaners were still on site cleaning and stayed for about 15mins finishing. Poorly arranged timing.We got inside the house and while it was big and clean, there were no decorations or champagne. Extremely disappointing based on our previous discussions and agreement.Our one time opportunity to surprise our daughter was gone… response from the property was an apology and offer to now arrange it again but at a further cost to us. No explanation on the cleaning situation. Lawn maintenance crew showed up the next morning to mow the lawns with no warning… Front door also doesn’t close properly so be careful when leaving and ensure you press the lock button. We left the house on time at 10am but found it odd as we pulled out someone else pulled in. Really disappointed in our stay at this property and agreements that were not fulfilled.
